Ok we are going to Lainey's one year apt on Friday so in definitely going to ask then, but about how much milk are you giving your LOs? And is it all out of sippy cups? We stopped bottles and have only done sippy cups for a while now. Basically I think she's getting anywhere from 7-10 oz a day of milk plus I'm still nursing at wake up and bed time. But I was going to stop bed time soon. Also I just started giving her water and I'm aiming for 1 sippy cup worth (7oz).
Basically I fill up one sippy of milk and one of water and I try and get her to drink 2 milks and 1 water. And I only give it to her while she's eating, not a separate milk feeding.
Between trying to drink enough water myself and trying to make her she's drinking enough as well, I'm exhausted. Haha anyway, those of you who have been to the doctor what have they said/ what's everyone else doing?
My doc said no more than 20 oz of milk a day she is currently drinking between 14-16 oz, she loves it though and would probably drink as much as I give her. She drinks water on and off all day so its hard to know exactly how many ounces.

She gets about 8oz in a sippy with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I try to wait and give it after she's eaten some of her meal before offering the milk or she'd fill up on it first. She gets water (same amount) with snack in the morning and afternoon (after nap). She doesn't always finish, but what doesn't get done is kept available until the next meal or bedtime. Anything left after bed goes in the fridge if it's enough to keep.

Cecilia won't drink a ton of milk out of her sippy. So she gets a 6oz bottle about an hour after breakfast of milk, and another 6oz at 7pm before bed. Her water cup is always out in the play area and she will drink 4-5oz spread through the whole day. I give her a sippy with milk for lunch and dinner which total between 3-5oz

I honestly don't know how much they get. They still nurse 1-3x a day, and I give them each a sippy of water and milk throughout the day. I think they probably get 7-14oz WCM (the more they nurse, the less they want WCM)and maybe a sippy of water.
I'm trying sippys only, but will cave and put milk in a bottle if I don't think she's drinking enough. I'm still trying to find a good sippy, I think she can take it faster than what they are flowing, because she likes to drink out of water bottles and cups (don't get me wrong - it's not pretty). She'll throw them on the ground often. And by often I mean constantly.
Milk is about 6 oz for breakfast/morning and 6 oz for dinner/night. Water throughout the afternoon. She is not drinking all of it though, unless it's in the bottle.
We do formula, juice, and water here. Elias loves Motts for Tots. He generally drinks 2-4 ounces of juice or water with breakfast. DC is supposed to give him water from his 5 oz sippy but I'm never sure if they really do. He drinks 10-14 oz of formula at DC. Then with dinner he has juice or water (1-4 oz depending how thirsty he is.) I think he's like me now and some days thirstier than others.

We are nursing ×2 and she gets 8oz of mixed BM/WCM in bottles at daycare. They do put some of it in a sippy for her to practice, but I don't know how much. She will drink 7-10oz of water a day. The pediatrician said it doesn't matter how much milk she is getting if she is still nursing to some extent, so I haven't been worrying about it too much.

I think measuring / over thinking what they are drinking will only make you crazy. LO gets a sippy cup of WCM with every meal. I've been doing this since he was 7-8 months old.He drinks a fair amount, but not a ton. If I'm not around to nurse him when he wants (especially at nap times) I have whoever watches him offer a bottle with slightly warmed WCM. Sometimes he'll take it, sometimes not. I'll be very interested to see what happens with naps / bottles when I start back to work at the end of August. In between meals and nursing he has a couple of sippy cups of water out all the time that he drinks from when he feels like it.

I'm not really sure, to be honest. But I guess I may be out of the ordinary because I'm not really that concerned. I nurse her once when I get home from work and once before bed. Then in the mornings DH gives her a bottle of freezer stash BM before he drops her off at daycare, unless I take her and then I nurse her before. Daycare gives a mixture of 1/4-1/2 BM and 3/4-1/2 WCM, so she is probably getting about 4 oz of BM and 5-7 oz of WCM there. I think by the end of the month she will be on only WCM at daycare and then I will just have DH give her a bottle of the freezer stash in the morning until it's all gone, which I'm guessing will be mid August.
As far as water, I just try to always offer her a drink once an hour and make sure she always has access to a sippy cup. Some days she drinks a lot and some days she doesn't. I figure she knows when she is thirsty.
So at the 1 year appointment our pediatrician said LO should be getting 16-24 ounces of cow's milk a day and to be sure it's what's always offered at meals. So that's what we're doing now.
