I had my baby on 3/6 via cesarean. The surgery went well and baby was safely delivered, but my placenta was huge and I had a massive hemorrhage in recovery. Almost had a hysterectomy, but they used a Foley bulb filled with saline to apply pressure to the lower segment of the uterus and it was very successful. Still dealing with complications. We spent five days in the hospital and love being at home. My Dr is confident that my next birth experience will be different and she fully supports me if I choose to vbac.

Thanks for updating us. I'm glad to hear that the surgery went well. FX for a speedy recovery.

Congrats on your little one!!!! I'm sorry you had those complications! Hoping you are feeling better now!
I know this is an old thread so my apologies, but quick question.
I just had my first baby at the end of February at 36 weeks due to previa. I know I want more babies, but I'm terrified to get pregnant again because of the stupid previa. All things considered, I had it pretty good. I didn't bleed at all until 36 weeks when I delivered. So, my question is what number pregnancy were you on? I know the risk of having previa goes up if you've already had a c-section so I'm curious to see if that played any part of an of your experiences. Thanks!!
