Should we combine Hanging onto a Dream and the Bench?

What are your thoughts ladies? I normally post the bench check in on Mondays so it would be good to get an idea before then.

Shit...good question. I was wondering the same thing. There are good arguments to be made either way.

Reasons for:
-we have a lot of check-ins
-waiting around is boring no matter what check-in you're on
-the merger of the boards in general just seems to make sense; why not?

Reasons against:
-we like routine
-potentially different subjects discussed while waiting

The only thing I would point out is that it "seemed" like a good 2/3 of The Bench were waiting to IVF cycle. True, rainbowbridge14? How many IVFers did you have on The Bench?

I think there's about 17 WTC and rainbow said 10 on the bench. I'm good with whatever!

Hmm, for a while many were (me, you, daydreamsam, sammae, buttmonkey, and fightersince83...am I missing others) but there were also some ladies who were early on in testing, had cysts, or were on the bench to recover from surgery. We also welcomed ladies not cycling and pursuing other options like fostering/adoption or just taking a break for mental health.

The bench was also really small this past week so combining wouldn't be too bad numbers wise. I just didn't want ladies who are not at IVF yet to feel left out or like they didn't have a place if they were benched for other reasons.

I am on the bench not for IVF, but I don't mind combining. Probably a lot of the same feels happening despite what treatment you are waiting to start. I'm happy with whatever happens. Thanks for doing the check-in.

I didn't post the check in this past week since I was gone, but I can look back at What lavishpeach posted for me and give you a list of who posted recently.
