I gagged while brushing my teeth and then got sick after I smelled the eggs that I was cooking. I am hoping it is just a coincidence that those things happened in one day but I am a little nervous that I may be pg. I think I will test this weekend. I would be both blessed and stressed. Mostly given my history.
Well that would be something songbirdsinging55! Keep us posted! I don't have my early meeting today but it is still my long day. But I'm so happy that baby woke up early so I got to spend some time with her before work! Otherwise our only time would have been putting her to bed. So yay!
zengal super impressed you do your long run midweek. I just had a long talk with h, brainstorming how I can work running back into my schedule. I know it can be done, but given the choice of sleep or spend time with LO, running falls down the priorities quickly. At the same time I keep saying I need to have more me time and do stuff for myself. Sigh.
zengal, yay for a little extra baby time! I find the mornings are the most fun. Is she a super happy waker upper?
pixie523, Good luck. It;s hard- sleep and baby time are definitely hard to put aside for exercise. Can you use a jogging stroller and bring baby with you? Do you and H exercise together?
I got my stitch fix bag! It was like Christmas morning!! I got a blue maxi, an orange patterned flowy shirt, a striped tunic, boyfriend jeans and a necklace. Love it all! Keeping it all! The jeans are like, primo. Fit me perfectly. The 25% off savings for keeping all 5 is super awesome. On top of a 25$ credit. I made out pretty awesome!
pixie523 Given the choice of sleep, time with LO, and me time, we sometimes manage to combine all three around here. I'm holding LO to sleep and MH gets "me time" for himself. Lol at how that works.
jjh1119 Glad the stitch fix bag worked out for you.
songbirdsinging55 totally keep us updated! Gagging while brushing my teeth brings back bad memories of last year. I had such a bad pregnancy
I totally understand. I want more kids and I was feeling slightly ill a while back and it reminded me of my pregnancy. It's going to be SO HARD to be pregnant again with a child if I have as bad of a pg as I had last time (or worse ) I looked forward to second trimester and when I was still sick almost basically until 27 weeks, it was rough.

Good morning! Yesterday was insane. DH had been going into work early the last few days ... not even remotely ideal when I start work at 5:50 am. Needless to say he has nothing on his schedule today and he and LO have been snuggled up asleep on our bed since I got up at 0 dark hundred. Makes me smile every time I see those two.
Work has been crazy, but things are slowly getting back to normal. I'll try to catch up on what I missed yesterday. Tomorrow is our 9 year anniversary so we're debating about where we'll go out to dinner. Will be our FIRST time out without LO together. I'm both looking forward to and dreading it. We love hanging out with him, but there is NO WAY we're taking him to a fancy restaurant.
songbirdsinging55 - that is scary and exciting at the same time, do let us know how it goes!! zengal - Yay for extra snuggles but boo to long days. pixie523 - Hopefully you and your DH can come up with something that works for you. My DH and I have been in the same boat, just trying to figure out schedules. While the neighbor and BIL are GREAT. We're debating whether having someone come to our house 3 days a week might be better for us and LO. It's hard figuring this stuff out! jjh1119 - Sooo jealous about your stitch fix haul. That sounds AMAZING!!
pixie523 - I too struggle at finding time to workout. My husband and I have been taking turns picking LO up from daycare so we can workout. Yesterday was my turn to pick up LO. I was still hoping to get in a short workout but I had to go grocery shopping instead. Tonight I will go for a run. jjh1119 - I am tempted to try stitch fix but I am very reluctant to get a lot of new clothes. I recently bought a handful of new shirts with a GAP gift card I've had since Christmas. But I am still well above my prepregnancy weight and we plan to TFAS soon.
ninergirl52 - happy anniversary and enjoy your baby free date! DH and I are planning a baby free date this Friday - it is only the second time we have managed this.
LO has been done with his antibiotics for his last ear infection for 4 full days and he is already showing early symptoms of another ear infection. Ugh...
Is anyone else failing at feeding their baby veggies? My dad made a comment the other day about the amount of sugar I am feeding LO and now I am realizing that we feed him a lot of fruit. And when we'd feed him a veggie, it is mixed with fruit (for example, last night was Apple-kale-blackberry purred) or it is a sweeter veggie (such as sweet potato). What vegetables do your LOs prefer? We have had success with peas and green beans. I should make some more...
songbirdsinging55, Holy cow!!!! CONGRATS. How exciting! Have you had a cycle at all? Do know how far along you could be?
sjp03, I think I remember seeing they do it for maternity clothes, too. Do you like your clothes loose fitting or tight fitting? OI used to like tight until after Liam. I look fine in tighter clothes, but feel more comfortable in loose. I decided what they hey and went with it! If I end up going down a size, I still think all the items will work.
ninergirl52,Happy Anniversary! Enjoy the baby free date night. It is worth it to step away for a little bit and enjoy you guys.
I just got a new pair of sneakers and the store was having buy one get one half off, including clearance. I have a boot obsession and found the CUTEST pair ever. All in all for check out, these 60 dollar boots were 5 dollars! So new nikes and boots for 79.99 total.
sjp03, Liam eats anything, but Spinach, Kale, pumpkin, legumes (white beans mostly, but also lentils) peas, green beans, asparagus have all been scarfed down.
pixie523 today is my long day of work my long run is still on the weekends...though as I get further into my training, my mid-week run will be as long as my current long runs! All this was admittedly a pretty low priority until more recently. My baby is so enticing, I had to pay money to get really in gear. jjh1119 yes, baby is at her happiest in the mornings; I just love it! She wakes up smiling, I swear. Yours too? And your fix was better than mine! I don't have Pinterest, so I'm hopeful my second one will be better as they get to know me. Was your orange patterned flowy shirt lace-patterned? I'm not al the way caught up yet. Bbl!
The orange patterned shirt is not lacey, but has a few gold buttons on it. zengal, and yes Liam is so happy when he wakes up, you can't help but smile and play.

jjh1119- honestly I have no clue. I suspect a month because of the condom breaking that one time. I haven't had one cycle since having Isaac. I am still nursing but my supply dropped out of nowhere. Also I just got off the phone with my doc and she is ecstatic. She wants me in for blood draw. My history is many losses over almost 6 years of TTC so I was not expecting this at all.
songbirdsinging55 all the luck to you!! I was actually going to say wasn't it you who said your supply dropped? Didn't the condom break two times? So awesome, though. I feel you on the long journey, but time for baby number two! You should teach Isaac to say "big brother" or have him respond when you say "who is having a baby?" And him say "mama" to tel everyone

Omg I love this!!! I will teach him something cute. Maybe MIL can teach him to sign it! Yes with the condoms. We never used condoms before having him. my supply dropped drastically and I thought something was wrong. I don't think I can nurse for too much longer. DH is over the moon. It's adorable.
Hi ladies, I've missed you all! Lo keeps me super busy all day and usually takes very short naps so I usually am only able to really get on here at work. I am going to tagallthethings songbirdsinging55 I am so very happy for you and your H! I hope you have a healthy pregnancy zengal boo for long work days, I always feel so strange on my long days when I only change lo's diaper like 3 times...it feels so weird to me!Glad you were able to get in some snuggle time pixie523 I feel the same exact way about running/working out. I decided to try a jogging stroller but I get it about it being low on my priority list! Just this past week I started Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, it's 20 mins and I've been forcing myself to do it during lo's morning nap. jjh1119 I must check out this stich fix, sounds awesome! My only problem is I have no clue what size I am these days. ninergirl52 love seeing my H with lo too, sounds so sweet! Have fun on your first night out without lo, it does feel strange just because you want to hang with them! sjp03 I'm sorry your lo is not feeling well, those ear infections are the absolute worst! I was just thinking about how I should be giving lo more veggies too. She like peas ok but I should definitely do more
