What books are you currently reading? Hidden Huntress by Danielle L. Jensen (58% finished) and Patches by Ellen Miles (DD's current bedtime book) Are they for a challenge or reading goal? Hidden Huntress is the last book for my yearly reading goal. Win! What do you think so far? Now that I've gotten further in, I love HH. I can't wait for book 3. What is next on your list? Vicious by V.E. Schwab
GTKY what is your favorite vacation? I'll take this to mean vacation that I've been on. That would definitely be my honeymoon. H and I went to Washington D.C. and roamed the city for 5 days. We're not beach people, so it was right up our alley. We went to the National Zoo, several of the Smithsonian museums, Union Station, an aquarium, and ate at some interesting restaurants. I want to go back so we can take DD to the zoo and museums.

What books are you currently reading? River Marked by Patricia Briggs.
Are they for a challenge or reading goal? It's 39 of 65 for my annual reading goal. Which I may increase to 75.
What do you think so far? I like it but no surprise since I'm a big fan of the Mercy Thompson series.
What is next on your list? Maybe Crash & Burn by Lisa Gardner or The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. It usually depends on what I get next from the library.
GTKY what is your favorite vacation? We went camping a few years ago with family and it was amazing. We have so many great memories from that trip.
What books are you currently reading? Under the Wide and Starry Sky by Nancy Horan Are they for a challenge or reading goal? no challenges this year It's #26 for the year What do you think so far?meh. I liked it better at the start but now it's reading like a biography instead of HF (it is based on real people but still) What is next on your list? I am not sure maybe one of my books on Kindle I haven't read yet
GTKY what is your favorite vacation? H and I went to New Zealand and Australia last year. It was amazing.
I'm reading The White Queen by Phillipa Gregory. I haven't read a lot of historical fiction lately. It's good but I'm only half way through and it is getting a little boring. Hopefully something exciting happens soon. If not I don't think I will read the second one. Next is blue lily lily blue if I can get it from the library or something else. MH didn't get the job he interviewed for so we are on a tight budget. I need to stop buying books.
Favorite vacation was Hawaii with H after college graduation. We were there nearly two weeks and did so much cultural stuff. Also had time for the beach so it was great.
Oh, I would also like some good recommendations for series that I could easily get at the library. Some of the new ones aren't available. I like YA, fantasy, historical fiction, pretty much anything.

PNR series Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews, Mercy Thompson series Patricia Briggs, Charley Davidson series Darynda Jones.
I can rec more YA if you're interested in standalones.

Do you have amazon prime? And a Kindle?
If do you can get The A modern witch series for free (well one free a month) as well as Hunger Games. You just have to get them through your kindle instead of a computer.
Red rising is also popular but might be new enough that it's difficult to get through your library. Make sure you are requesting the books. It should help get them in sooner. I didn't for a long time and that was just silly.
What books are you currently reading? Girl with All the Gifts (75%) - I'm absolutely adoring this book. Are they for a challenge or reading goal? I'm over my goal. I think I'm at 27 of 24, but my new goal is 45 What do you think so far? - It's fantastic. What is next on your list? - Game of Thrones series, I might just hunker down and jump in.
GTKY what is your favorite vacation? I'd like to start switching up our vacations, I'm really tired of beach vacations.

I do have prime but my kindle is dead. I use my iPad now. Will that work? How do you do it?

I did not know this board was here. :::waves hi:::::
What books are you currently reading? Fifty Shades of Grey (1st read) and Missoula by Jon Krakauer Are they for a challenge or reading goal? Just for fun this year. Next year I will do a goal again. I am thinking Ugly Love by colleen Hoover and Isla and the Happily ever after by Stephanie Perkins.
