I was an infrequent poster on tb. My LO finally finished our last bottle of twin labs multi w dha and the pedi said she no longer needs a multi. I still want her on dha so was thinking of the vegetarian version of Nordic naturals dha. Does anyone use it? Or any other suggestions?

Not mine either. Crap, most of the time I forget the vitamin d too. V eats will enough most of the time, even if he is being a bit picky sometimes. Plus, he still nurses 2x a day, so I figure that helps toO.

We give green pasture fermented cod liver oil (orange flavor). I mix it with a small splash of juice and they use a syringe to squirt the mixture into their mouth. They love it.
I was horrible about vitamin d too. I bought cows milk w omega 3 last week cuz it's all they had and she wouldn't drink it. Now she won't drink any milk so we are just going to sustain ourselves on yogurt over here.
Be careful. I had a "health professional" tell me once that M is short for his age and it's likely because we don't give him cows milk (you know, for fear of death and all that). You'd better get some straight up cows milk in to your M pronto or she might end up a midget.

I guess we are sol because LO only drinks goats milk and is in the 2nd percentile and she never got a drop of breast milk.

Our pedi told us we didn't need to give N multivitamins. I worry a tad about it bc I'm not sure he eats enough veggies to make up for it. When do the vitamin D drops start for bf babies?

We did Vit D drops from day 1 until he started to refuse taking them, then I switched to taking lots of vit D while still BF'ing. I followed some advice from a nutritionist colleague of my sister's:
I finally got a chance to talk with our nutritionist about mulitvitamins. She said it's fine to give a child vitamin, gummy or other form, to a 1-year-old...you just cut back on the dose. If the dose is, say, 2 gummies then you can give him just 1. She suggested Nordic Berries by Nordic Naturals, which you should be able to find over there. If not, I'm sure there's other brands that are fine.
About Vitamin D: She had a couple tips. You could either 1) Drop liquid Vitamin D onto a gummy vitamin. It will absorb into the gummy. 2) Take extra Vit D yourself. She said she took 8000 IU daily while she was breastfeeding. Once your own body is replete with Vit D, the excess starts showing up in your breast milk. It sounds like a lot, but Vit D toxicity isn't a concern until you approach ~50,000 IU/day.

I usually eat a lot of raw salmon and ikura ( salmon roe) specially while pregnant. And for my kids I started to give the ikura after they turn one year old, as well I made sure we eat a lot of sewed. Anyway going back to the main topic. I like Solary chewable vitamins & mineral for my kids, and the yummi bear omega 3 with chia seed.but I don't given everyday, the omega 3, I usually give it to them two times a week because they eat a lot of the ikura during the week. And the multivitamin I given three times a week.
R gets Lil' Critters gummy vitamins. 1 calcium bear and 1 DHA/Omega-3 fish. She asks for them every morning. And I'm terrible at remembering A's Vitamin D drops
I give L vita d and a probiotic but no other vitamins. My ped said that's fine. L does adore fruits and veggies though, so she gets a lot from that. Hopefully that love lasts a lifetime

You start vit like within the first month and continue yntil they transition to cows milk.
