I'll go specific, so we aren't just repeating the same general ideas every time: 1) finding a seat on the busy train this morning 2) sunshine that kept me from falling back asleep in bed 3) new coworkers with a shared sense of humor

I am thankful DH is off with me tomorrow for our ultrasound. I am thankful that I dont have ANY plans this weekend except dinner for a bachelorette tomorrow night. Yay for hanging out at home! I am thankful that my big dog is feeling better after a few days off colour. She is back to her normal bouncy self

I'm thankful for the day off to try to rest bc (ugh) I'm suffering from bad hemorrhoids right now. Sitting, walking makes it worse... So work yesterday was brutal.

Sorry you're dealing with that pain, but glad you have the day off!

my sister watched little man so I could go to the store last night. He had a blowout at home with her while I was gone. So I'm thankful that I had one less blow out to deal with and I didn't have to deal with it in a store. I'm also thankful that today is the complete opposite of what felt like hell the past 3 days.

I'm thankful I got cancelled from work tonight! DS turns 2 tomorrow so I have stuff to do, and working until midnight wouldn't have been awesome. Also thankful for my best friend who is driving with her family to spend the day with us, and for her husband who took the day off too! Best friends rock.
I am SO thankful that when my beloved grandmother had a heart attack on Tuesday afternoon, the grandparents (who are from the middle of nowhere Michigan) happened to be in our old hometown (which they know well), driving around nearby to a pretty good hospital, that they were able to get her there quickly, that the surgeon was able to identify the location of the blockage and repair it quickly, and that she is now doing very well (better than the past few weeks, according to my grandfather)!!!
I'm also thankful that when she gets discharged tomorrow that they're coming to stay with us for a week, so that I can watch her like a hawk and help out my grandfather.
I'm thankful that my job is flexible, and that I was able to drop everything and go spend two days in the hospital, sending hourly text updates to the rest of the family, all of which live on distant coasts.
On a separate note, I'm thankful for my sister for coming up with a great way to tell the fam about our little nugget. (This never happens as my sis is 10 years younger and a GIGANTIC PITA ALL THE TIME - whiny, doesn't take responsibility for anything, lazy (all my pet peeves)) Everyone on that side (24 people) will be going out in 3 weeks to my grandparents house on a little lake in MI, for my grandfather's 80th birthday. My sister decided to make shirts to celebrate, with a family tree on the back. So, the reveal will be some under DH and I in the tree, which I think is adorable! Maybe my lil sis is growing up :-) - it's a great idea and so nice of her to think about it!

1) This frosted lemonade from chick-fil-a that I'm currently drinking. 2) DD is being relatively well behaved today while we get all our grocery shopping done for the next two weeks. 3) DH has to travel next week for work, but DD and I get to go with since its within driving distance. 4) My Doppler should arrive tomorrow!
1)today I got what feels like the first good night's sleep I've had in like 8 weeks. Between pregnancy anxiety, nausea and vomiting, plus our new puppy and my already screwed up night shift sleep schedule, I haven't slept well in FOREVER. I slept like a rock today and woke up feeling amazing.
2)I'm 12 weeks today and thisclose to the end of the first tri!
3)my husband surprised me by cleaning out my filthy car yesterday. He is so good to me
Thanks trtlcrzy! It's a little crazy to think of all the things that randomly had to go right for her to still be here - definitely had a guardian angel watching over her on Tuesday! I'm scared to think about what would have happened if this happened to them at home or at night or basically any other time/place.
I'm thankful that I got called off from covering a late night football event since they had enough staff. This equals me getting to bed two hours earlier. Little things.
