I've got a book club event today in which we are doing a box wine tasting.
DH has put me in charge of his lunches for the school year. He wants to eat healthy and is going to get back into a workout routine. I'm now on pinterest looking for ideas. I'm still not sure how i ended up in charge but at least I'll stick to the plan where he won't.
We've got family coming for the afternoon today. It's going to be really hot, but I'm thinking we might try to get out to a splash pad after second nap and maybe an early dinner while we're out? Swim lessons tomorrow, should be a pretty quiet weekend!

I'm exhausted after 2 long days of wedding festivities. I was a bridesmaid. I spent 10 and 12 hours away from ds. I missed him so much and so did my boobs lol. I had to leave the reception because I leaked through my dress! I still can't pump. So I figured I'd squeeze them in the bathrooms. Well I totally spaced that! Didn't even have time anyway.
MsNicole06 your book club is the coolest ever! I hope you have a good time. It's a family event for us too pixie523. Everyone got here last night, and we've started cooking for the all-day eating extravaganza!
I drove alone with LO for the first time at night last night. We were at an event and MH had to arrived separately as he was assisting with setup and clean up. During the event, LO did really well. After the event, I had to drive her home by myself. I'm not usually crazy about driving after dark, but luckily we were sort of in our home neighborhood and I had my pick of quiet residential streets. We made it home before girl started to melt down.
That's great gldnbearz! So nice to have the first time go well. My family is having a great time. We're having caprese salad, focaccia and hummus, roasted peppers, olives, and fresh tomatoes. I made a pizza crust with goat cheese, caramelized onions, walnuts, and grapes. Also some potato torta my sister is making. And the beer and wine are flowing like water. I ran this morning and baby had a nice nap. Couldn't ask for a better day!! I hope everyone is having such a nice Saturday!

H is working second shift until next week. Have I mentioned that he's had exactly one day off since July 5th? M isn't pooping and it's making him cry. Poor baby.
pixie523- I have been wanting to try swim lessons but honestly I am terrified of it. I had a pretty traumatizing experience with swimming and never go in the deep end. I don't want Isaac to be the same way. lovebuggies12 - ouch for your boobs! Also, I hope you get some time to enjoy some snuggles gldnbearz - I try not to drive too much at night as well. zengal - so jelous of all of the delicious foods! pixie523- sounds like a great day! wildflower810 - Poor LO, also, I hope your H gets some time off soon with you guys.

Spent my morning at the library. Morning sickness and fatigue are hitting hard. I just started taking unisom and vitamin B6. The OB had put me on it for morning sickness before. DH came home and let me take a long nap and made me a delicious whole wheat spaghetti dinner. Major brownie points. He so happy that we are going to have another LO.
Looks like everyone had a decent day yesterday. We went to a birthday party where the kids got to swim. That was a good time for them to wear themselves out. Today we have an outdoor fest we plan to go to. I'm excited to see a couple of Christian music artists.
We survived the weekend! (Almost- H still has to drive home after he is done off-roading) but liam and I got home. Still no teeth! But Saturday was significantly better than Friday (thanks for the Motrin rec! So much better than tylenol). We hiked on Friday then went out to dinner, played tennis for a bunch of hours on Saturday morning then hiked the largest mountain I have ever done. My body is physically exhausted. Liam did okay with the 3.5 hour drive home he slept for an hour cried for a half hour, talked for a few minutes than back to sleep. I am so physically exhausted. We co slept and liam didn't sleep well with the new environment and the bed was smaller than what we have at home so it was difficult but fun overall.
I was hoping for a small catnap but I think liam done with naps today lol.
We've got a bottle strike going on here. She'll drink most of her first bottle of the day, then has refused every bottle offered. Doesn't matter if it's BM, formula, or water (I was hoping to get her some fluid). She is happily eating her solids, but I'm worried about fluid intake and being down on calories.
Maybe you could give her some watermelon or other fluid-heavy foods. I think I'd be more concerned about her staying hydrated than the calories. I bet she'll make up for it in the next day or two.
gldnbearz that is hard, does sound like maybe teething and sucking hurts??
We went to a bazzar last night with my sister and her family and had a really great time, lo loved all the commotion! She's been a fussy mess today tho, not sure if it's more teeth or that she's gone 7 days now with no bm.... that happened a few weeks ago and was awful. The doc just suggested giving more prunes, peaches and pears which is all I've been giving her. Poor baby
So MH bought this shirt. He sent me a pic while he was at the store and I commented not positively. So he came home and showed it to me (thinking I might like it better in person?), and I still don't have anything positive to say- and I feel bad about it! I think I should have let him enjoy it, even if he does look like a chode in it. Should I have reserved comment?

We spent yesterday evening alternating between warm baths, baby yoga, suppositories, and hugs. Lots and lots of tears. Today things are moving along much, much better. H even got to change one of the stinkies, which was a small consolation for doing last night solo.

Drive by posting. Just wanted to check in. Me and my husband watched Jurassic World. So good! And Chris Pratt isn't too bad himself lol. Baby's in bed, I'm having a beer

gldnbearz hopefully she comes around sooner rather than later so you can stress less.
zengal I told DH if a bought shirt he'd look like a guest on Jerry Springer or Maury and then I did the "you're not the father" comment like they do on paternity test day. So at least you just expressed you didn't like it.
zengal I wouldn't feel bad at all! They need to know when their fashion choices are bad!MsNicole06 hahaha love the description of looking like a guest on maury!
wildflower810 I was wondering about suppositories, how long had it been for your lo?? The last time mine was this backed up, when she finally went it was really painful for her and my mom suggested suppositories...

kfaye, it had been 6 days.. which isn't all that abnormal (for us) but he was straining and crying and I could feel/see the hard poop not coming out. If you do a suppository, make sure to get the glycerin only ones (they were on the bottom shelf at Wal-Greens) and then start with just a half a one since our babies are still small.

I nearly peed my pants reading this.
Seriously me too!! Thank you for the chuckle zengal In an effort to be somewhat helpful on this one. I'd tell him. My DH and I are pretty honest with each other on wardrobe decisions. I REALLY want to see this shirt though!!
