I'm in total disbelief that I'm typing this post and on this board. I'm 27w with di/di boy twins. Baby A's water broke yesterday. I've been in the hospital since 4:30am. Currently the boys are still inside and I'm praying hard they stay there as long as possible. Their heart rates are good, my cervix is closed and my contractions are minimal and decreasing thanks to meds. I'm thankful to be at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore where we will get amazing care.
I'm terrified. This is without a doubt the scariest time of my life and I know you all know the feeling. My eyes are swollen from crying all day. I just can't believe this is happening. I could use some encouragement, anything. Thank you
jnetx I apparently had contractions although I didn't feel them. They did get them to stop. I'm a ball of nerves not knowing if we have hours, days or weeks until delivery.
Eta: did you continue to leak while on bedrest? The dripping is making me lose it.

I am so so sorry that you're going through this. Thoughts and prayers that you can stay pregnant as long as possible under the circumstances. But either way, you'll all get amazing care and you'll pull through this!
I'm sorry you are in such a scary position. My water broke at 32w3d and was just an on and off trickle. I really didn't realize what was going on. By the time I got to the hospital, I was contracting and dilated to a 4 and there was no stopping labor. It's great that they were able to halt your labor for now! I hope you can keep those babies in as long as possible! Every day counts! I'll be thinking of you.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this! We are here for you for whatever you need. My son was born at 26 weeks and he is now 2.5! Hang in there, mama. And welcome to our board.
So sorry you're going through this but glad to hear that things are going well so far, hope you can keep those babies cooking a bit longer! My son was born at 27w3d and just turned 2 last month and you'd never know he was a preemie! They're fighters! Good luck to you!
My guy came at 31 weeks and was born within 2 hours of my water breaking so I have no advice for you. But lots of ((hugs)) and good thoughts. I'm glad things are going well so far.

Just seeing this-thinking of you and your twins! I had my daughter at 28w0d, she is doing great. We were there for 84 days, but technology is amazing-we saw kiddos born at 25, 26 weeks--they are small but MIGHTY.
