Are you concerned about fluoride use/exposure and fertility?

My dentist recently recommended I get something called "MI Paste" to help remineralize my teeth due to some acid erosion damage on my teeth. My pharmacy didn't carry it but said I could get it on Amazon. But of course, Im a special snowflake with obsessive tendencies so when I went on Amazon and searched for MI paste I HAD to look at all of the Amazon results before I could make a choice (...also because it comes in other flavors!). One of the results was for a "plus" version which had extra fluoride (900ppm sodium fluoride). Seeing this MI paste with extra fluoride reminded me that a few years ago I had met someone that was solidly against fluoride, but I couldn't remember why... many hops later, I landed on two cool pieces of fluoride-related information:

• A new study published this year called "Adverse Effects of High Concentrations of Fluoride on Characteristics of the Ovary and Mature Oocyte of Mouse" www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4460091/
• This fluoride map provided by the CDC that shows how much fluoride each county puts in its drinking water:

We have lots of floride in our water here. Fertility doesn't seem to be an issue.

You're right. I get stuck in these kind of compulsive "loops" often. Its really satisfying while I am doing it, but afterwards I realize I wasted a lot of time. I probably need some professional help.

I don't drink tap water and if I do, I use a filter pitcher. My fertility is screwy due to a blocked fallopian tube, which I highly doubt has anything to do with fluoride.

Yes, you really might want to consider speaking to someone. When you start obsessing over the effects of fluoride on fertility in mice, it's time to take a step back and think about talking to a professional. For months you have been obsessively researching trying to find an answer, and you just keep grasping at straws. You came to TCF to find support and legitimate advice. Posting threads like this only further exacerbates the spread of inaccurate information by ill-educated fearmongerers.

I am geniunely concerned that in the next couple weeks someone is going to ask about fluoride on b abycent er and no one will tell them to cut their shit out.

They recommend it to all children in our area, in the towns that don't add fluoride, which we have a few around here. I grew up taking it as well, because we were on well water. The female mice were divided randomly and equally into five groups, as follows: group A(control group) was adminstratered water without fluoride, while group B-E(experimental groups) were administrated 50, 100, 150, 200mg/L NaF in water, respectively

That's like... 50-200 times the amount of what is measured in the water. I think if you're not swallowing several tubes of toothpaste a day, you'll be okay.
