I apologize for the sheer stupid-ness (is that a word?) of this, but I can't think of a good way to say this and be cute about it. The "spare" is what DH has been referring to non-existent Baby #2.

This is a story all about how
My ute got flip-turned upside down
Now I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the mom of an heir and a spare
When Lillian was born this is how she was raised:
In yoga pants is how I spent most of my days
Chillin out, readin', ticklin' all cool
Changing diapers and nursing, wipin' up her drool
When a couple of docs, they looked under my hood
Saw Mirena making trouble- it was up to no good
I had it cut out, I was a little bit scared
And told DH it was time to try for a spare
I charted like a beast and when O came near
OPK said + and temp rise did appear
If anything I could say our timing was fair
But I thought "Nah, forget it--we'll try for a spare"
I walked into the bathroom on CD 28
And I peed on a stick, then crossed my fingers
I looked for 2 lines, they were finally there
Now my family is growing, an heir and a spare!
