O is going to swim lessons this week. She is still too afraid and cautious of the water, I want her to be more comfortable. Not sure how it's going to go though. Bless the girl that is doing them. She's a family friend, so I'm hoping O will want to get in with her. Or this could be a trainwreck.
In the north, there is a home depot-ish place called Menards. When K talks about it, she calls it "the nards". It sounds like an std and makes me giggle a little.
My grandma is obsessed with that place. We can be talking about anything, and she will say "you can probably get that at Menards.. "

LOOOOOVE this video!!!! AND I LOVE this SPAM title!!!
We were just trying to teach KJ this dance this weekend. Apparently she's heard the song in daycare because she knew it. LOL Right now she just wants to hold our hands and jump up and down. She will say "I want whip" then take our hands and jump up and down as high as she can. LOL

Sounds like a replacement word for balls/nads. "Stop bustin' ma-nards" haha

Even the RE was impressed that we got pregnant on the first round unmonitored.

cl8badb, I'm moving this over here from the other thread, I struggle with the exact things you mentioned. I've also struggled with depression in the past. I agree very much with what rabbit and violet said about work but I find for me it's more just about structure. I don't have any desire to go back to my job but I do not do well with the lack of structure that comes from me staying at home. What I did was fill my calendar. We go to something 4 days a week (library story time, gymnastics, mom and tot yoga, drop in play group, etc) and the 5th day is either a quieter day at home or a play date (still at our house). I also make a schedule for all the house stuff I need to get done and break it up into manageable chunks so I don't feel overwhelmed and at the end of the day I have very clearly accomplished something. At first getting out of the house every day was making it so I had to do most of my house cleaning on the weekends, but that was affecting our time as a family when DH was home. So he and I made the decision to hire a housekeeper. Now the projects I work on during the week are things I actually enjoy and want to do and I don't feel guilty about bathrooms not getting cleaned because we are out and about a lot.

When we moved here the first time, one of our friends sang the jingle as "Shave your monkey at Menards." Now that's all I hear.

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe i can work on some type of schedule for myself.

violet I hope you get some rest today, that "schedule" sounds brutal
I feel bad for her because she has such bad gas - I can tell that's what it is. I end up feeding her and then I always have to change her once or twice bc of her diaper rash, which wakes her up. Giving up dairy did nothing. Argh!!! Thanks though, glad you had a good night, truly
And my previous post was terribly ill-timed... I'm an arse... Sorry....
I really know exactly what that struggle feels like, rash and all. Poor poor girl! Here's hoping it gets better and quick! Any chance it's a yeast rash? Have you tried a bit of canesten cream on it yet?
ETA: I'm totally not the right person to be saying anything about bfing but doesn't it take a little while to get rid of the dairy in your system? Or do most people see improvements right away? I also know with O that they thought for a while he may also be sensitive to soy, I really hope that's not the case for you guys.
