Morning sickness. There I was, totally fine when all of a sudden, a wave of nausea knocked me sideways halfway round the grocery store. Go die in a deep, dark hole morning sickness. No-one likes you.
Also Damn kids and their crumbs! I vacuum and the next day there are crumbs EVERYWHERE.
Liked for a detailed description and similar anger toward crumbs. #soulsister
Yikes! That's a long wait. My ob practice is like that sometimes, it drives me crazy.
I've only had one other time there with a wait that bad (6 week follow up for B). They're usually pretty good about moving everyone along, and all the pregnant ladies in the waiting room with me were seen first (no idea their appointment times, obviously). Went in to have a lump in my armpit looked at and got an all clear, so at least the outcome was good.
@iheartmyshiba, that's awesome of your doc! We have done the delayed schedule as well to do only 2 at a time. Whether that's scientifically helpful I don't know for sure (probably doesn't make a huge difference) but it makes me feel better! Just fewer variables in case there is a reaction. Our pedi has been great about that with us too.
DS was a little anemic according to his bloodwork from 9 months, so I have to start giving him the iron vitamin and get his blood drawn again in a month. Not happy he has to get stuck again.
H is taking forever with getting his act together for potential new job (and move and SAHMing), and it's making me crazy. I don't want the opportunity to go away, but we can't even start thinking about options til he has a resume to submit.
I have a new one. DS was acting better today, and didn't have a fever since early this am, so I didn't make a doc spot for him. Tonight after waking up from a nap he's got a fever again and diarrhea that just won't quit. His poor butt is so red, and I'm kicking myself for not taking him in. Now I'm debating patient first, which I hate for peds but I'm afraid he's got another ear infection.
All my hugs @zerozeroone. And sorry to you ladies who had babies get shots/blood draws, never fun. My MBF: I haven't spent a night away from LO yet, but he's going to stay at my parents overnight tomorrow and I feel like I kind of got guilted into it I know it needs to happen, I just don't feel ready. But a bonus is me and hubby are doing a date night!
My coworker is on vacation this week and I spent the entire day doing her job.
I ordered a shirt from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in the smallest size and it's too baggy in the boobs. I suppose I could get it tailored but I know I won't get around to it. Curse you miniature postpartum boobs!
A family friend from the beach that I've known since I was a kid passed away. I'm super bummed about it. Today sucks.

DD slept through the night every night in Hawaii except one, and she only woke up for a few minutes and then went immediately back down.
Ever since we got back her sleeping has been hell. I thought it was just the time change, but it's gotta be something else. She wakes up like every 2 hours and screams bloody murder until I pick her up. It's awful and I'm exhausted due to that on top of the time change so it's extra hell.
This must just mean you should move to Hawaii. But seriously, was she in the same room as you for sleep on vacation? I swear they know if you're in the room.

Yes, she was :/ but we would put her down well before we went to sleep in there.
So far she hasn't woken up and she's in her sleep sack. She woke up about 45 minutes ago the last two nights for her first wake up, so at least we have a little longer stretch. Here's hoping we can get back to one wake up a night. I don't think we're ever going to STTN over here.
