1. I had my 1st OB appointment last Wednesday and got to see baby . I was so nervous and scared leading up to the ultrasound but as soon as I saw that little heart beating it eased my fears!
2. I thought my EDD would be 2/7 based on LMP and temping but OB said baby is measuring about a week ahead so EDD is 2/1. I guess that makes me officially out of 1st trimester at 13w1d but I see many different opinions on what weeks you hit that, either way I'm close.
3. Yesterday I felt pretty good all day and had no vomiting, I really hope that sticks around!
4. We told MIL/FIL (the 1st people we've told) and they were shocked, other then that they were hard to get a good read on them. I guess it was a different reaction than what we received with DD (1st grandbaby) so maybe that threw me off. MIL also said after looking at the ultrasound, "but you were just drinking?!". Um no lady, I haven't had a drink since at least April but thanks for letting me know you're keeping tabs on me. We haven't hardly seen them since I've been pregnant since I was feeling awful, she must be confused.
5. Our bathroom remodel is still happening, DH has been working on it here and there while still trying hard to give me a hand with DD. Remodels take forever when you have a pregnant wife and a DD.
6. I know I've mentioned selling our house soon but we've officially decided we are going to be trying to get it on the market by Sept 1st. Its so much work, ugh.
7. I'm excited for a new (to us) bigger house, especially with another LO coming. We were outgrowing our current 800 sqft home before DD so it's much needed.
8. I have to go to my parents house tonight to visit since my great uncle is in town. I haven't told them I'm pregnant yet and want to wait til my great uncle isn't there (since we're not close) but they have no idea how long he is staying (he's retired and just kind of does things when he wants to).
9. There is a library story time that is outside down at the park this morning and I'd like to bring DD but I know she will just be running around like a crazy woman so it doesn't seem worth it.
2. We'll probably just get food delivered/send DH out to bring stuff home, instead of going out.
3. I was excited about the Superman v. Batman trailer...until I saw it. I'll still see it though.
4. I was only mildly impressed with Inside Out. I felt it was a very "middle of the road" Pixar movie.
5. I'm dreading the day when the girls are old enough to watch commercials and ask for all of the crap they are selling. Some of the products are beyond dumb!
6. We just started using blankets with the girls during naps/bedtime. It gives me anxiety, but I want to be able to use them during the winter this year, instead of just relying on a space heater in their room (so I can lower the overall house at night). So far, they like it, but never have the blankets on when I check in on them/in the mornings.
7. The other day, I bought stuff for my girls' Easter baskets. (Little plush ducks) It's freakin' July!
8. I bought Superman floor mats and steering wheel cover for the new car. DH hates the cover and wants me to take it back. I'm bummed, since the car is replacing my car. But he's the one who will drive it when we are all traveling together.
9. My girls are in super-hugging mode right now. They hug each other until they both fall down, laugh hysterically, and start again. I love it!
10. I still think Lisa Frank animal art is awesome.

Happy second trimester lilqt3929! Hope you start feeling much better now! Happy anniversary @twinstars!
1. DD's pronunciation of the words "fork" and "seat" make me giggle.
2. I'm pumping while I distract her with Youtube videos and baby naps.
3. She still stares at me looking super confused while I'm pumping. She thinks that I have shoes on my boobs.
4. I went to see Trainwreck at Stars and Strollers with the baby last week. They have a change table, stroller parking, and they dim the volume. She slept through the whole thing and I relaxed and enjoyed the movie.
5. DD2 slept 6 hours straight last night! A new record!
6. I'm feeling pretty cooped up but still a bit terrified of leaving the house alone with both kids. What to do with my day?!
7. 6 weeks postpartum and I can't wait to go swimming, but I have NOTHING to wear in a pool.
8. We are going on a 6 hour road trip (without stops) next week with both kids. Lord help us.
9. DH made me a sandwich for lunch and left it for me. Granted, it was only PB&J but he's kitchen illiterate so it's the thought that counts.
10. I'm really excited to start working out again. I don't fit anything.

jnetx --- nursing killed with DD2 for the first month or so... I resorted to using the shield when the pain was really bad and then slowly weaned off of it by two months. I was told numerous times by LC that her latch was okay so I'm not exactly sure why there was the pain. So sorry you're dealing with it too!
Eta it got better as her mouth grew larger also
1. I applied for a new job and I hope I get it!
2. It's part time on evening shift and includes every other Friday/Saturday but allows me 2 more days/wk home with the kids for not much less money.
3. We have so much painting to do in our house and no time to do it. I can't wait until it looks more home-y.
4. DD1 loves to say watermelon and porcupine she says fork and truck pretty darn funny sugarkissed
5. DD2s hips are normal! She has to wear her harness for 6 more weeks at night but then she's free leggin' it forever - woo!
6. I've lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks by counting calories.
7. I miss my damn ice cream! But I'm happy to lose some of the PP weight.
8. I've been drinking 3 cups of coffee a day to counter the lack of sleep, FT work and the kiddos. Still so tired!
9. I hate walking down to the basement for laundry- I'm lazy
10. Off to measure 1/4 cup of mint chocolate chip ice cream and devour it slowly lol
2. After my pity party for one on Sunday, DD has been amazing. So sweet and well behaved. Easy diaper changes and bedtime! I think she read my posts and decided to go easy on me lol
3. I'm watching the Texas Rangers game...15-5 NY. 3rd inning. So sad.
4. No one thought I was going to make it to my csection date except me. I'm so glad I did just to prove them all wrong.
5. I'm really curious to see how big this boy really is. Doctor has been predicting 10+ pounds and I feel like she may be right but I'm so curious.
6. My sister cried this morning b/c she won't be here to hold the new baby when he's born. She lives in MO and can't come visit right away. I'm really hoping she can come before I have to go back to work though.
7. My house is a disaster. I'm trying to tidy one room at a time before I go in to the hospital. It's rough.
8. I found a shirt on Zulily that says Fallon/Timberlake 2016! I love it and really want to buy it! They are my 2 biggest celeb crushes.
9. I'm officially addicted to cereal. I was craving rice krispies so DH decided to buy every cereal there is and I have been eating it so much!
10. We're keeping DD home late tomorrow morning so we can take her to the splash pad as a family of 3. She LOVES the splash pad but last time I took her alone it was way too much for my big pregnant self.
Good luck carli ! I'll be thinking of you. I am so glad your DD took pity on you. I hope everything goes well with your section and that your dd transitions well.
jnetx I had to use a shield the first couple of months. I have heard that ents will look at tongue tie issues. I hope you find a solution I'm glad you guys are transitioning well otherwise.
@twinstars happy anniversary!! I hope it went well.
@fiveohfive FX for the new job!! I so wish I could go part time.
1. It's not Tuesday but... 2. I have my anatomy scan in the morning 3. I am nervous but trying not to think about it. 4. DS hs decided he hates sleep. He will go to sleep but he won't stay sleep 5. Sometimes he screams for food. Anybody have this happen. I read not to feed him but I can't bear the thought that he's hungry. I have given him a pouch in his crib. I'm desperate 6. We are remodeling our other house. We are almost finished with the kitchen 7. We need a bigger house too lilqt3929, good luck with your project 8. I go back to work next week 9. DS is having separation anxiety so I hope he does ok. I think he is less bored at DC but the other kids get on his nerves some 10. He will be in a new class. Half the class are new kids with new teachers I hope he likes it

I'm late but I'll still play :-)
1) I dropped my phone in the toilet this week :/ just pulled it out of a bash of rice though and it's working just fine!!! 2) We close on our houses (buying + selling) tomorrow morning and I will be so relieved to have that done! 3) I'm ready to not be pregnant anymore. 38 weeks on Saturday. After tomorrow, baby boy can come any time! 4) I'm really excited for the new house. 5) After having car issues for the past 4-5 months, we finally are back to having two reliable cars. 6) My husband's (outdoor) cat has been missing for the past week. Hoping she shows up, but she's never been gone more than a day in the three years we've had her. 7) My niece and Nephew are up visiting this weekend, and I'm excited to see them. They live about 4 hours away. 8) DD recently discovered "Let it Go" and has been singing it all he time. Still not sure where she heard it though... 9) I'm finally getting excited about baby #2. Hoping he's a much calmer baby than DD was though! 10) I can't believe our babies are already almost 2 years old! I'm excited for Gs b-day though. She's getting a play kitchen, and I've made a super cute little apron for her too.
salemkitty We went to the pedi today because I was concerned about a low diaper count. She said upper lip ties don't matter (I don't really believe her though) and gave me the number of an LC. She is coming over tomorrow, so I will definitely have her look at it too. Good news was pedi wasn't concerned because his weight gain has been good and of course he had 3 more wet diapers between me calling the office and his appointment. Hopefully the LC can help me figure out what's going on.
Have you tried giving him just water? I know he says hungry, but they say we as adults misinterpret thirst for hungry quite often. I would not give him food, I don't think. Does he go to bed right after dinner? Could you give him something like a piece of cheese or peanut butter toast right before brushing teeth and laying down?
I hope the LC helps you out! Breastfeeding can be so hard. I think some dentists will also look into lip ties if you want to pursue it.
I have started a snack at the beginning of our nighttime routine about a week ago. I started giving him water a few weeks ago before bed or after he goes to sleep if he asks for milk or juice. He had his adenoids removed 2 weeks ago and has been wheezy ever since. I woke up this morning with lung pain and now I feel fluish so I'm thinking he's just sick. FX he gets better soon. We had a rough night. I have been trying to tighten up our routines.
