Appointments/milestones: Monthly appointment + ultrasound to check on things tomorrow. FINALLY have started feeling baby kicks, started after I tried the flashlight trick now it's pretty frequent.
Questions/comments: none
GTKY: I had thought about doing frozen meals like this. However, I will also have help during that time so it's become less of a prority and/or issue.
Week/Fruit: 26 weeks! No idea on fruit because I deleted the bump app.
Symptoms: all the kicking! It took so long to be able to feel her moving (anterior placenta) that I still get so excited to feel her move!!
Appointments/milestones: regular monthly appointment coming up in a couple weeks. It will include the glucose test... I guess that's kind of a milestone appointment??
Questions/comments: I had been enjoying normal energy levels the last couple months and taking the chance to start getting the baby room ready, but I can feel myself slowing down. Mostly because I'm not sleeping so well.
GTKY: Do you have plans to have frozen crockpot meals or casseroles to use when baby arrives?
I'm going to try and get the freezer stocked as much as possible. I'll probably start making frozen batches here and there after I quit my job at the end of feb.
I deleted TB too, but still have my account so I get the emails. I admit I looked at that to make my post, lol. I also at one point made a babycenter account too, that email said that baby was about a foot long or the size of an ear of corn.
My other thought was going back to TB just to get the ticker code with fruits on it.

Week/Fruit: 26 weeks I believe that's lettuce but I've also seen butternut squash...not really sure
Symptoms: She's been kicking up a storm, I'm starting to have a bit of swelling, and I'm pretty sure my boobs are growing again.
Appointments/milestones: I had my regular appointment last week. My next appointment is in 2 weeks when I'll do my glucose test, yuck, and I start having appointments every other week. Things are getting real.
Questions/comments: I really wish my kiddo would sleep through the night. I'm reverting back to the exhausted all the time stage.
GTKY: Do you have plans to have frozen crockpot meals or casseroles to use when baby arrives?
I'm planning on having some frozen meals, and go to crock pot meals ready to go. Besides meals I am planning on making lactation cookies ahead of time and either freezing baked cookies or just the dough so they are ready to go. They were a supply lifesaver last time and delicious. Luckily my husband loves to cook, and my family has been gifting us random restaurant gift cards so we've been saving them up to use for ordering out while we are adjusting.
hellok2010, that is an awesome idea about restaurant gift cards for a mom to be. I'll have to tuck it away just in case for those hard to shop for moms who seem to already have everything for baby.

What recipe did you use for your lactation cookies? That's a great idea to make the dough ahead of time!

I forgot this in my first post, but would also like to know this.

Hey Sunday ladies!
Week/Fruit: 25 weeks/cauliflower
Symptoms: General, uhh, pelvic soreness. Sometimes it feels like I've pulled my groin. Also fatigue, which never quite went anywhere.
Appointments/milestones: Another f/u a/s this week. Happy to see LO again but getting sick of doing (and paying for) this every 2 weeks, I hope they finally get all the measurements they need!
Questions/comments: Nothing this week.
GTKY: No plans really made, but that is a good idea. My biggest concern there is that our freezer is not very big and fairly full (DH freezes a lot of meat), but I should probably have at least a small stash going!
This is the link to the recipe. Essentially they are oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with flax seed meal and brewer's yeast. I would mix up the recipe some substituting chocolate chips for dried fruit, peanut butter or toffee chips. They are delicious and gave me an excuse to eat cookies once Ethan was born.
Symptoms: sore back on right side, sore ribs on left side, and crazy heart burn.
Appointments/milestones: Monthly Ob appointment Wednesday where I will probably pee in a cup, listen to the heart beat, she'll ask me if I have questions, I'll struggle to think of something and then we'll leave.
GTKY: Do you have plans to have frozen crockpot meals or casseroles to use when baby arrives? Yes! I make a yummy veggie chili that can be prepped in advance. I've considered these things also.
Appointments/milestones: None until February 10th, my 24 week appt.
Questions/comments: My feet are slowly disappearing, and my appetite is quickly growing!
GTKY: Do you have plans to have frozen crockpot meals or casseroles to use when baby arrives? Not that I know of.. But then again I live with my boyfriend and my mom, so between the three of us I'm sure we can handle one newborn and housework.

Hahaha, this is pretty much why DH has given up on attending the regular appointments! Now I'll just ask him if there is anything he wants me to ask (or help me remember things I said I wanted to ask), and most of the time it's nothing anyway. I figure once we're at the weekly appointment stage I'll make him come with, but for now there seems to be no point.
Symptoms: I'm in the AP club so movement is still minimal. Other than that, mostly insomnia and fatigue.
Appointments/milestones: no appts for another 2 weeks
Questions/comments: none this week
GTKY: Do you have plans to have frozen crockpot meals or casseroles to use when baby arrives? I have plans but haven't started freezing yet. I read somewhere that buying an extra freezer was a good idea to freeze meals and breast milk. Our current freezer is already full so might have to consider that.
