Now I'm changing my diet to watch not only cals but carbs as well. It's only been a few days but I think it is working already; the change I needed ti get over the hump!
What are your goals for this week? Lose 2lbs and be more active bc I didn't do well with that last week either...

When does everyone go running/hit the gym? By the time DD is asleep I'm exhausted. All I want to do is eat, clean up my kitchen, and zone out in front of the TV. I'm catching up on work whenever I can get DD to nap. I need to make the time!
What activities have you been doing? Walking every day, I am doing a 30 miles in 30 days challenge on Facebook. I set a goal of 50 miles and so far in 3 days I've already walked 11. I have also been doing workout videos. I did core and yoga on Monday and today, and upper body yesterday.
Did you meet your goals from last week? Yes! I have been tracking all my calories on myfitnesspal and staying within my goal each day.

We go first thing in the am. I try to get on my workout clothes before she gets up. This morning we went right after her prune juice bottle, before she needed to eat again, but usually it's after her first morning catnap. It is hot already usually but I don't mind.
What activities have you been doing? Just walking, and trying to watch what I eat. Baby steps, y'all!
Did you meet your goals from last week? I have yet to hit my 10,000 step Fitbit goal, but I am down a pound since I started keeping track, so YAY!
What are your goals for this week? Cut out the unhealthy snacking, get more steps in. I ordered a stroller fan (thanks, Amazon Prime!) that should be in today, so the heat hopefully won't be as big a factor if I can keep my baby cool!

mrsclark731 If it's just walking, we try to go in the morning like you tried today. We have a stroller fan we got on amazon that works pretty well for dd. Still hot for mama though. If it's a full workout I do it after she's in bed for the night. I have to force myself to or I veg in front of the tv. I'm considering doing short ones during her naps, but I use that as my clean as much as possible catch up time.

Also I've been doing workout videos while she plays on her mat next to me: I have a prenatal one that is pretty challenging and the workouts are only 15 mins, very manageable right now.
@holachica how do you take your LO with you when you run? Do you do the infant carrier in the jogging stroller or let him just sit upright? I hadn't thought of taking her yet for a run like that

What activities have you been doing? I ran once since last week, would like to do more but I haven't had the time yet.
Did you meet your goals from last week? Yup, starting small, just wanted to get moving at least once.
What are your goals for this week? While it is going to be so tempting to continue sleeping in after DH and DD leave for daycare on my WFH days it is really the only opportunity other than weekends for me to work out, so since I'll be home Thurs and Fri to get a run in at least one of those days one on the weekend.
GTKY: do you listen to music when you work out? If so, what type of music is it and give me a song. Its a mix of rock / pop. For running it is stuff like Hot Chip, Chromeo, and A LOT of Britney with more mellow stuff sprinkled in, Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Talking Heads.
What activities have you been doing? Nothing overly athletic this week. The heat and humidity is killing us. We have been hanging poolside though and working in the garden.
Did you meet your goals from last week? Nutritional ones, yes. Exercise, no.
What are your goals this week? Just to keep eating better. I am taking a pass on exercise until it cools off a bit.

mrsclark731 it's been insanely hot here as well. I am looking into a gym that offers childcare as well. I think that's the only way I am going to make this happen.
What activities have you been doing? Walking, going to the gym--I did a core class yesterday (omg, I'm sore), but other than that, I usually do some combination of elliptical/bike/treadmill. I just got back from an elliptical/bike session. I'm doing a spin class on Saturday with a friend and my H.
Did you meet your goals from last week? I think so. I've cleaned up my eating and I've been more active. I've switched my snacking from chips/pretzels to nuts/dried fruit. We also only went out to eat once last week (I got a bowl at Chipotle).
What are your goals for this week? Keep it up. Drink more water!

I have a lot of country on my Ipod but I also listen to pop, alt-rock, folk-rock, soft rock...I also have enjoyed listening to podcasts on runs (mostly "Stuff You Missed in History Class" or "Mike and Tom Eat Snacks").

2nding this question. Ive taken a break from my jogging stroller because my LO isnt a fan of his carseat anymore and I know BoBs recommend you wait until 8 months to run with them

What activities have you been doing? I did a Jillian Michaels YouTube video since my dad's are in storage.
Other than that occasionally taking long walks with the stroller. There are no mom weekend workout groups since people normally take at least 6 months off.

What activities have you been doing? This week has been a struggle. I made it to the gym this morning for the first time this week and biked for 20 minutes. Hoping to get back tomorrow for an arms workout, but i have an international work call tonight at 9 pm, so we'll see.

I go after DH takes LO to day care. He leaves the house at 7:25, I aim to be out the door by 7:35 and at the gym by 7:45. Work out for 20-30 minutes depending on how quickly I get out the door, then shower at the gym and off to work. I need to hit the road by 8:30 to get to work at or just before 9. I blowdry my hair using my car vents cause I'm classy.

I am realizing my little guy is six months now and I can totally stroller jog with him. His neck control is also excellent!!! This is an exciting epiphany!
Activities: spin class, I try for four times a week but something always stops me.
Goals from last week: Nope! Last week was a train wreck. H was out of town so I stress ate and had no time to exercise, then when I finally got to a spin class tweaked my knee. Ugh! Being thirty pounds heavier on the same frame sucks!
