I was thinking about getting these, but DH and my sister made fun of me. I leak a ton too, especially in the opposite breast during letdown. I was joking that I was going to start ringing out my breastpads and storing that milk (gross). I'm just worried that it would be a big mess trying to take them off and store the milk.
I've never used them. I should have with DS though. I had such an oversupply/overactive letdown that I needed breastfeeding pads until 10 months or so. I don't seem to leak nearly as much this time so I don't know if they'd be worth it now.
you can try them and see how you like them there are a couple types to try. some moms report that they leak like crazy around the pads and get milk everywhere, that may be user error, but don't try them without a change of shirt available the first few times and don't bend over when wearing them. if you get the type you can wear all day, be careful if you get yeast infections easily and empty them frequently.
