Hi
I thought I'd do a quick re-intro over here. I intro'd on the other board, but then didn't actively participate, because mobile bump constantly logged me out. Tapatalk/proboards seems a lot more user friendly and less glitchy, so I see myself participating here a lot more.
So here's the intro: Im married to the guy I started dating just after high school and grew up with, we have 2 daughters, ages 6.5 and 1.5, and work full time for Corporate America. I'm partially working because I have too, and partially because I now have one kiddo in elementary school and the other one thrives and loves her daycare and I can't imagine her not being there. I have a lot of stay at home mom friends, and so I really love the support of this board full of moms doing the same thing I'm doing, because I find myself feeling pretty judged and questioned by women who don't really understand why I am working with small kids at home. This past year I started a job that really supports a good work life balance, allows some working from home, etc. and that has helped balance things more. As a side note- I breastfed the second kiddo and pumped at work until a year, so I can be of some support to fellow working/pumping mothers if that should come up.
Glad this board is here, and hoping I can be a regular member!
