My sister had her baby at 31 weeks!

I have been super MIA lately and was hoping to be more active, but there has been SO much going on in the last few weeks.

My sister was due in September and just had her baby on Saturday morning via emergency c-section at 31 weeks. My nephew was 2 lbs. 9 oz. and is in the NICU. He is doing really well for being so little, but there is still a very long road ahead. I just wanted to share with my J12 family.

The worst part is not going home with your baby.  Thankfully my sister is an OB resident, so she understands everything that she will have to endure over the next several weeks, but it doesn't make it any easier. If you have any extra T&Ps that you can spare for the little guy, it is much appreciated. I will try to keep you all posted as I hear.

Awe congrats auntie, lots of well wishes to your sister and her family. At 31 weeks he has a wonderful fighting chance. A friend of mine had a her September due baby in July (3 days before J) and has a happy healthy 3 yo J12 baby! I hope little Brayden has a fairly short NICU stay. It's most definitely the hardest thing I ever did, leaving my baby in the NICU while I went home... It does get a little easier, even though it always sucks.
