I apparently need to take some ginkgo biloba. Yesterday, not only did I forget my adapters, but I also forgot to take the bottle nipple to daycare! So today, I was doing pretty good. Slept like doodie again, but did my run and was making okay time. Got to the sitter's, getting the baby out of the car...where's the milk? Oh, it is in the fridge. At home. Seven miles away. In morning traffic. Guise, I'm probably going to have a donut today. I heard they can serve as memory aids too...?
A couple weeks ago DH and I decided to stop using all forms of BC and see what happens. I've been trying to decide what my POAS strategy is. Do I want to test periodically? If so, how frequently? Or should I just wait until I feel like I might be KU? I still haven't had a my first post partum period and I don't want to temp or anything.
MsNicole06 Yay for snugly, happy baby! zengal I hate it when I am so forgetful. Makes me think I am losing my mind! I think the donut will help. sjp03 How exciting! I would just test every once in a while. Unless I had symptoms. pixie523 I hope your day gets better.
Tired is the word of the day. Even when lo sleeps longer stretches, I still find myself waking in the motn. I am so annoyed with myself.
MsNicole06, Sleeping in is always wonderful. I would be a happy baby and mama too
zengal, Yeah my brain doesn't brain a lot lately either. I hope you remember everything tomorrow to end the week with a bang!
sjp03, how exciting! We dont use any protection, I'm going with take a test if I feel knocked up, or if AF is due and I haven't gotten it (it's still regulating) Also, obviously I have my cycle back so that's different.
pixie523,Glad you've resolved it, though! Good luck with the rest of today.
You guys. It's hot. Like so fecking hot. I think the humidity is just so high. The air is so thick. We have no A/C downstairs and honestly it wasn't much cooler at my parent's house over night either. Liam slept like just complete shit again last night. I'm so exhausted. We are staying home tonight. It's not any cooler overnight at my parent's and at least Liam will be in his own bed. And if we end up cosleeping, it's much easier in my king bed than the twin I have been sleeping on.
One more night till H is home, I miss him. We were kind of bleh to each other when he left and I just want him home and I need a hug.
Oh also, I FINALLY got my hair cut. Two weeks ago there was only time for a quick balayage and now I finally cut a good solid 4 inches off. It still is slightly below my bra strap, but I have layers again! And soooo many split ends are gone gone gone! I can wear just a cute pony tail again instead of a bun because it was still on my shoulders in a pony.
Just a warning for those of you who have not had AF (TMI Thursday?) It has pretty much doubled in length. I need overnight pads all day and night and have to change them far more frequently and I can't even wear a tampon because even the super plus absorbency only lasted about two hours before I was making a mess.
Pre baby- it was 3 days TOPS and I only needed a tampon for one day (really!) I do not like this. I hope to get knocked up sooner rather than later (haha. yeah okay- not that easy) but so that I don't have these crazy awful periods and also, so that I can start a BC that stops them. Please. and Thank you.
jjh1119 Yeah I'm really not looking forward to getting my period back... Mine was already 5-6 days long.
sjp03 That is exciting! I'd probably test once a month.
The way LO has been sleeping is making me seriously fear for the next 6 months of having no nighttime help while DH is in training. I may die of sleep deprivation. If I stop posting here for a while, you know what happened.

pixie523,I HATE that!! Usually happens to me when I'm in the middle of trying to rush out of work. I have a know it all here who makes sure to point out that he fixed my mistakes when they happed to occur, so that's a joy and a half. sjp03, Haven't talked about trying again but I imagine if I hadn't had AF already I'd be testing like mad. jjh1119, I'm jealous of your haircut. SS told me last week that I needed one. My 12yo BOY!!!! Seriously, I guess it's time. I've got the mommy-tail happening on a daily basis if it's not pinned back with clips or a headband. l8rg8r, Waking MOTN when LO is still sleeping is the pits!! Guess my body has just adjusted to waking up so often. Can't tell you the last time I got a full night of sleep.
So, DH put his 2 weeks in....ish just got real. I think I'm panic attacking about how I'm going to survive our weekday schedule by myself for two weeks while DH is away for training. They're shipping him to the company HQ for it but he gets to come home for the weekend. Right now we divide and conquer in the AM and PM, my parents have the kids during the day and DH picks them up 2 hours before I get home. Just praying for a little extra help from the rents without any gruff. This is really what they've been wishing for too.
SS is still away at his mother's.....the week is almost over!!!! Can't wait for him to get home Saturday. I'm a little ragey that she's got him this week. It's just fun time to her, all the fun and none of the responsibility. Not looking forward to the emotional puddle he'll be when he comes home.
LO has been a prince the past few days, STTN too (not bragging, see above). We even went to a restaurant last night and he was just awesome. Smiley, happy, eating up my chicken and sweet potato fries.
My child is playing in her exersaucer but if I try to work on lesson plans and not have eyes on her she starts screaming. As soon as I make eye contact she smiles and giggles. Apparently I'm already getting the mom mom look what I can do phase.
Re periods I'm back on BC but my period is even shorter and lighter then it was before DD. It's even the same BC.
I've been working and being productive all day and haven't been following. Now that I am pumping let's see if I can get caught up...
pixie523 - that is never a fun way to start the day I've been there and it sucks.
l8rg8r and all the other tired mamas - hopefully you can catch up on some rest soon!
jjh1119 coworkers around here keep talking about how hot it is. I have barely noticed- partly because I haven't been outside much
littleapplemom - happy about your husbands new job but it is going to really suck having him away for 2 weeks! Good luck. Stock up on meals that can be quickly reheated (whether it is homemade freezer meals or store bought). When my husband travels for work I tend to buy breakfast at the Panera next to daycare - it leads to less dishes then when I make breakfast at home. That's about all the advice I have.
MsNicole06 - my LO was being the same way last night. It gets frustrating!
The first time we had BC-free sex was a little more than a week ago so I will probably test in another week or so then continue testing once a month. I did have some EWCM, so who knows...
Ya no AF here at all, cant say i miss it! I used to take my birth control pills straight through so I never really had them before. When we decided to start trying I went off, had one period and then got pregnant so it's been a really long time!
On my way home from the store today I got pulled over and got a speeding ticket! Ugh, even my adorable Lo who was laughing and talking in the back couldn't get me out of it. I haven't gotten a ticket in like 11 years!
zengal I definitely got all the way to daycare the other day and forgot the diaper bag. Had to drive all the way back home and was about 40 mins late to work....ooops!
Since we're all TMI today, AF has been back twice. Cycle length has always been on the long side. Duration is about 4 days, but first couple of days were definitely crampy. Not on BC as we were unexplained IF. But also not dtd, either.
littleapplemom Yes to that article! To all the ladies whose H's go away for a little while or a long while, I'm sure you'll do great! MsNicole06 I think we've hit the mom mom look at me phase too, haha! sjp03 good luck on your test

I managed to have a fabulous evening with my book club (there never is a doubt). I love single parent Thursday. DH and I are each taking 2 Thursday a month to have a night out. I'll do activities with my book club and he will go do one of his hobbies. Since we're each on our own for the night we're calling it Single parent Thursdays.
