Now that we're mostly settled in our new house I'm trying to set a cleaning schedule. Our new house is 3 times the size of our previous home so it's taking some getting used to. I'm curious as to how often everyone does certain cleaning tasks.
Vacuum twice a week at least. We have all carpet even in our kitchen. So yhe kitchen gets it more often with Logan throwing food everywhere.
The only place we have laminate is our upstairs bathroom and I dont mom it because its so small I just take a rag and soap and scrub it. And we have a bath mat. Honestly it's probably every other month.
Dust... thats hilarious. I dont dust. Maybe once a year?
Shower I do every 3 weeks. And wash the shower curtians at the same time. Toilet is the same every 3 weeks. If the bowl gets gross before that I do the cleaner and scrub it bit cleaning the whole thing when I do everything else.

We moved last summer into a much larger house too. I'm not as on top of cleaning as I was prepregnancy but I usually try & vacuum main living areas weekly, others monthly. Sweep kitchen every couple days & mop as needed (at least monthly). Toilets as needed. I don't clean the showers & tubs very often..... And I really only dust when noticeable.

Vacuum? About three times a week. We have hardwood floors throughout but I use a shark floor sweeper for them. It is usually spot vacuuming in areas that are bad or high traffic (kitchen, garage door etc.) and once a week I vacuum the whole house.
Mop? 2 times a week I do the kitchen/dining room area. These are the areas where we tend to eat/make food so they get messier than places like the bedroom. The whole house gets done once a week to every other week, depending on the cleaning ladies schedule.
Dust? Once a week.
Clean showers/tubs? Every two weeks. The cleaning lady does those with a deep scrub. During the week (2 times) I just spray them with Clorox cleanup , do a quick wipe, and rise out the tub.
I vacuum the foyer/kitchen and family room once a week. I mop the kitchen floor about once a month and steam mop it once a week. The living room and dining room get vacuumed about once a month since we rarely every use those rooms. The upstairs gets vacuumed about once every 2 or 3 weeks. The bathrooms get cleaned every other week. Dusting happens about once every 2 months.

I think I may be trying to over clean. I've been attempting to do everything weekly but I'm thinking things like dusting could go a little longer in between. I wish I could vacuum less but our cat sheds so much!
I wrote up and printed out a monthly cleaning schedule of just a thing or two to do each day, but I'm so lazy, I haven't started yet.
Our main level is all hardwoods, so I try to sweep the kitchen and dining room every night or every other day 'cause the kids get food everywhere. The living room and entry I sweep maybe once a week.
Upstairs carpets get vacuumed like once a month... if that? BUT we don't take food upstairs and we don't wear shoes in the house and we don't have pets so it's not like the carpets get all that dirty to start with?
I'd say basically everything else... dusting, bathrooms, etc is once a month. I haven't mopped the hardwoods in a long time because I ran out of the swiffer wet pads a long time ago and I keep forgetting to buy more lol
