Hi All I am currently 9 weeks pregnant, its my fourth pregnancy with mild HG. I have never needed a PICC line or hospitalization, but i am completely non-functioning. I cannot take care of my house or my kids, and i can barely take care of myself. I have lost 10 lbs and have been working from home because i cannot drag myself into the office. Thankfully my husband has taken over most of my responsibilities so i can focus on myself. I take a little bit of zofran every day so i can eat and drink a little bit but mostly nothing looks appetizing to me. This pregnancy has been better as far as throwing up, i mostly just dry heave a few times a day but i think its mostly due to the fact that i have not been eating much. That is my story, thanks for listening and i look forward to getting to know all of you over the next few months!
I'm sorry you're going through this and have lost so much weight. I can't imagine dealing with this kind of sickness and three other kids! I have a hard enough time with just one. I hope you find some foods you can eat soon and that things improve.

I'm sorry you're going through this again. I had what I think is mild HG when I was pregnant with DD. I was very much like you, never hospitalized but almost completely non-functioning. I lost 10 lbs between weeks 5-13. Most days I lived on a few ice cubes and an apple because that's all I could stomach. I was on 8mg zofran 2 or 3 times per day and phenergan when the zofran wasn't cutting it. The really miserable part lasted for 13-14 weeks but I had to take zofran every night throughout the whole pregnancy or I was guaranteed to throw up all day the next day. I was lucky at the time that I was able to work from home most days during the worst of it. I am currently TTC #2 and now do not have a job where I have the option of working from home. I'm already trying to make plans for how I will deal with the potential sickness when I have to go to work all day and take care of a toddler. I hope you are able to start feeling better soon!
I started taking diclegis this pregnancy at night with the zofran and that helped me. Can you ask your doctor about a medicinal cocktail? Two things that were recommended to me as well that helped a bit were frozen grapes and frozen lemonade- like Italian ice.
More importantly, big big hugs dear. I hope some relief is just around the corner for you. We are here for you whenever you need us!
