My little brother just started kindergarten today and my mom sent me the cutest picture of him standing beside the white board looking so proud after writing his name. I have all the feels right now. He was S' age when he first got placed with my parents. (He was in foster care and was adopted by them when he was 3)

I'm all caught up on my work and I finally have a minute to edit some more pictures of our photoshoot. It makes my heart fill up to see her little happy face
One of my work bffs had a baby 2 months before me and she told me he is refusing formula and has tried everything. I have kept my freezer stash even though O is on formula and it was hurting his tummy to keep combo feeding. I couldn't part with it because omg that was so much hard work to get that stuff. Her stash is completely gone and has a crashing supply. I asked her if she would take my stash and she said yes! I'm so happy a baby will drink my milk! I was freaking out I would have to dump it.
I am eating a giant bowl of watermelon--it's my reward for getting through the Body Attack class this morning! I'm really proud of myself for pushing so hard.

I love my little family. If only I could tell my past self to just relax and that everything really would turn out great.I didn't dare imagine that I could have all this love in my life

I should be upset that Brady is awake, but this week has made me realize how precious time is with my kids. DS1 is nearly a grown man. I have four years until he is gone and on his own.
So my DH just tucked me in the glider recliner in the nursery because Brady just wants to snuggle. I'm sitting here with his head on my chest (I only have on a night nursing bra) and relishing in feeling his skin against mine and listening to him breathe because I know that one day way too soon he will be too old for this.
So tonight I'm not upset that he woke up. I'm just grateful that I have a couple of more weeks before I go back to school to enjoy these "inconveniences."
I've worn prepregnancy jeans the last 2 days. And they aren't being held up with a hair tie! I haven't been able to do that since last June!
Some are still a little tight in the thighs, but not too bad. I was worried that my hips weren't going to allow them to fit and I'd need to get all new jeans.
I'm pretty certain my baby has figured out the sign and word milk. She can't speak or sign them of course, but lately she smiles and gives this particular little giggle when I do it if she's hungry and just ignores me when she's not. (We've been signing for about 2 months. Not expecting anything, just making it a habit so she can just pick up on it once she's ready.)
