Whine: I'm just so done being pregnant. I'm almost 35 weeks so of course I want baby to cook a bit longer but I'm sore and uncomfortable and just DONE.
Win: We had such a great family weekend! We got a ton done in the nursery, Saturday was H & I's 6th anniversary so we all went out to a yummy breakfast and H & I got carry out from a nice Asian restaurant for dinner. Yesterday we went to Conner Prairie (anyone who comes to the Indy area HAS to take their kids here!). Just a really great weekend.
Win: DH is off with the kids today (daycare lady needed off). As I was leaving Vera has a diaper blow out BAHAHAHA not me this morning sucka!!! I smiled sweetly and told him to have a great day!
Win: BFing is still going well for us. I am starting to see a small dip in my supply but I am happy with how things have been going so far. Whine: I forgot how I gain weight while BFing...I'm not sure who those women are that lose a ton of weight but not only do I hang onto every single pound I am steadily gaining as well. It's not the biggest deal but I really don't want to buy new clothes for the (hopefully if I can last) few more months I will be continuing to BF.

Whine: Tyler asked me to stay home and snuggle with him today and I had to say no.
Win: H and I had a really good weekend and had a loooooong talk last night. The future is still uncertain but he finally seemed to get it and is trying really hard. So... we will see, but here's to hoping!
Win: Saturday I am taking Tyler and going to Cleveland to visit one of my besties. It's her son's birthday party, and he and Tyler love each other so it'll be really fun. And then we're staying the night and going to the children's museum on Sunday. Yay!!!
Whine: I'm having a really slow day today, so there isn't much for me to do.

Win: We had a really good weekend celebrating Riley's birthday and still made good progress on house projects.
Whine: We're all exhausted this morning because of the above.
Win: My parents are coming this weekend to celebrate with Riley and give my H and I time to finish up our projects. We're getting close to being done and should have our house on the market before the end of the month!
Whine: I'm really struggling with this TTC thing right now.
whine: I slept horribly last night since both Greta and Henry have colds and they both ended up in bed with me (DH vacated for Henry's bed after a while so he actually got some sleep).
whine: I am not going to get much sleep tonight either since Greta has to be at the hospital by 6:15 am tomorrow for her tubes, and she can't eat after 2:15 am.
win: I start vacation on Friday afternoon and we will be gone for over a week!
Win: We had a great and busy weekend, went to a cookout at my friends house in CT on Saturday and Sunday took the girls to Patriots training camp at the stadium and then to a horse breed expo. We don't usually do that much stuff in one weekend so I was happily surprised at how it all went and the weather was great!
Whine: Juno will not drink milk since taking her bottles away. I've tried every cup imaginable and even just putting some in a poland spring bottle, flavoring it, yesterday made a fresh fruit smoothie...took a few sips then...nope. She will drink water all day long in her cups, straw and sippy...if she sees the cup has white liquid in it she will say NO and toss it. If she cant see through the cup and then tastes its milk, she will make a twisted face and toss the cup. Her 18 month dr appt was last week and the dr said to keep trying and make sure she gets cheeses, yogurts, to make up for it and to check back in a month or so. UUGGHH its ridiculous!!! She sucked down milk in her bottles but now that its in a cup wants nothing to do with it. So stubborn.
Whine/Win: Spending the upcoming weekend at a rented house down the Cape with mil, sil, bil and their families...i see this as both a win and whine.
Win: We had a great weekend and I think we made Ingrid's birthday very special.
Whine: My sleep was shitty all weekend (for no reason at all, ugh) and I'm EXHAUSTED today. When the alarm went off at 4:55 I thought "you're joking with me, iPhone, right???"
Win: We have turned a corner and Ingrid has been eating breakfast with no fights for over a week now.
Whine/Win: I'm POC for my boss while she's on vacation this week and next. Added exposure in the Network Area and get to lead the team so win...but also extra work for a week-plus taking on all my duties plus covering for her so whine.

Whine: I have been feeling very off, nauseous and just not good. Yesterday and today! It's annoying because I felt fine all day Friday and most of Saturday. I just want to heal so I can hold my babies again! Win: I got a team to come in and scrub my new house clean for us today. My parents are taking great care of the kids while I rest. (Even if it means Abby likes my mom more than me right now)
laurski81 I read an article--which of course now I can't find--that explains how everyone's metabolism and body reacts to severe caloric changes. I'm like you--I held onto my baby weight until Robin was only nursing about 2-3 times a day and then dropped 25 pounds in 3 months. Basically some people have bodies that react by losing weight and some hoard the weight. I'm a hoarder
laurski81, I did gain a little as well BF, or at least I didn't lose anything and I was eating more to compensate for it as well.
Whine: It's Monday and end of the month on top of it. Win: Eliza is really starting to sleep better and it's so nice. Hopefully this upcoming vacation doesn't ruin it. Whine: I have to travel with my IL's and spend a week with them next week. And they will insist on buying almost everything even though they really can't afford to. My FIL has been jobless for about 3 years. Win:my boss is gone, hopefully it's for most of the week.

Win: I'm going to say a quiet day in the office with both of my bosses gone is a win. Single parenting all weekend was exhausting. This is my break.
Whine: My friend keeps texting me pictures from Las Vegas. Super jealous.
Win: A's preschool start's this month. I'm excited for him and glad that SIL and MIL will get a bit of a break - he's going 2 days a week and older cousin is going 5 days.
Whine: The school is not working-parent friendly at all. There is a thing the Friday before school starts for the kids to come meet their teacher and find their desk, so I'll need to take a few hours for that, and then a few hours for his first day because I want to be there. And they have little parties and events and holiday things like once a month for parents to come to, so I think I'm going to have to split them with H and my mom. I wish I could go to everything.

Win: I'm off until thursday! Whine: Our dryer is broken and it's going to cost $350 to fix! Whine: Because of the broken dryer H dried a bunch of laundry at the laundromat and I have a ton of folding to do today. Win: It's completely beautiful out today and the forecast for the rest of the week looks nice too. Whine: I think I have the start of athletes foot I feel so gross. I think I caught it early because I only noticed it on one toe and but cream on it right away.

Your last whine is mine for today too. My aunt offered to attend the partial days with him, which I really appreciate because as a teacher its really hard to miss time the first week, but it breaks my heart. I know DS isn't going to home it against me, but I wish it was easier to be a working mom! hugs to you
Whine: I feel so blah lately. It's like all my passion for anything has just left me. No motivation for anything.
Win: Umm. I'll have to check back in later with that.
I've been there lady. It's draining. I remember saying to a friend who is a social worker, "can you help me out. I just don't enjoy anything anymore." I hope you find someone or something that helps you jumpstart a happier time.

I'm really hoping once Emma starts school in September and I have a few hours of time to try and do things I enjoy (or just regular house things) without fielding constant Why!s and Mommy!s and all.the.whines. then maybe it'll all come back to me. I love my kid, but parenting is mentally draining.

hoarder here too...and if I do too much towards trying to lose the weight my supply dips. so I will be putting that off until after Greta is one.
