So I didn't see one of these yet and since I've been waiting for today(my 6 week PP apt) to start my new work out, I figured I'd start this!
How are you at staying on track with baby? Doing any exercises that include baby? Trying something new or sticking to an old faithful? (Also this is my first kind of thread like this so sorry if I didn't ask any good questions and just hijack this!)

My plan is to hopefully workout while she's napping. I used to do T25 and now I'm starting the new beach body workout CIZE. Its nice to be able to do them on the house. Also restarting Shakology today!
I'm hoping to start back up running soon(don't want to do too much to start) and hopefully jogging with the stroller. Any tips for that STMs? Also my best friend is a personal trainer and wants to use J and me for her video blog to do mommy workouts. So that should be fun.

Any advice on squeezing excercise in when it's hard to squeeze sleep and food in?! I'm at a loss ... Or making excuses. Anyhow my 6 wk pp check up is tomorrow

I went jogging twice last week! I got up to a 1.5 miles and probably could've gone longer but I started to miss my little man and needed to get a light arms and abs in still!
I hit my first post baby goal of walking to the library with the stroller. 2.8 mi round trip. I had expected to get there a couple of weeks ago, but I am happy! I no longer have a full day of soreness after activity and it feels great.
Still eating kind of shitty, so I am trying to eat smaller portions. Next week I have my pp appt so I will start coming up with more of a plan after that. Sounds like you guys are doing great!

I've been doing Jillian Michael's 6 week 6 pack every day while the baby watches/naps. I also started the Blogilates August calendar this weekend, but ran out of time yesterday since we were out all day, so I skipped 3 minute abs and the extreme ab workout. I figure it's okay since I did 35 minutes of abs with Jillian anyway.
I also went on my first postpartum run yesterday! I only did about a mile and a quarter since I was a little worried about time, but I'm still excited.

This is where I am too. Not to mention, the dishes, laundry, vacuuming, etc. and I go back to work in 2 weeks, so I really just want to snuggle baby as much as possible before that. I think I will have to wait until LO is sleeping and I can get up and work out in the early morning again.
I am down to pre pregnancy weight, but would like to lose about 7 more pounds. And seriously need to tone up.

I weighed myself for the first time this week since 2 weeks pp and I'm exactly the same. About 8lbs from pre-pregnancy weight. So I lost most of it right away without doing anything. Guess it's time to do something... Also struggling with the time/energy factor.

I also lost most if the weight right away but now at a standstill. Today is the first day of clean eating/ reducing carbs so hopefully that'll help out some

Meh honestly that doesn't bother me too much in Pittsburgh(probably a good FFFC)it's not a huge city so of we were in a mommy group depending on which part of the city you live we would probably run into each other. I'll totally ask my friend if she would like to add another Mommy! I'll PM you!

I started CiZE today as well as part of a mixed challenge group. Even though I dances for 20+ years (7 of which I taught) the workout is no joke. (I'm not really following the eating plan yet though)

OMG the trip part where you're on one leg killed me!! I was dripping sweat! It was a lot of fun though!
I'm also not really paying attention to the eating plan. I'm doing Shakology but still eating a ton of calories. Granted they are all (mostly) healthy calories.
I've only been walking. I wear LO a lot so it makes it a little hard to do much else for exercise. I'm also juggling with getting sleep, cooking, basic house work and short social activities that I find the exercise part overwhelming. SS question... is anyone worried about exercise and milk supply?

leenziepops - the key is to make sure you're still taking in enough calories and water. Then it shouldn't affect your supply. For me, I've found it actually helps my supply because I do a better job of making sure I'm hydrated when I'm working out.

I'm also on team stand still. Grrr with 20 lbs to go. I've had family from out of town so this last week has been hard but I just bought a tread climber and have been trying super hard to eat healthy. Though I refuse to calorie count while ebfing. I need to find a good video work out. Thinking about T25 because I think I should be able to find 25 minutes. I used to do insanity and loved it (love/hate actually) but the time commitment is much bigger.

YES I hate trip leg! I broke a sweat within 2 mins of the workout. I decided I'm going to do beginner instead of advanced even though I didn't have a problem keeping up. It's been so long since I've actually intentionally done anything physical (besides keeping up with my toddler) that I think easing in is best.
I think I'm down to pre-pregnancy weight (I haven't weighed myself lately) but nothing fits right anymore. I would still like to drop another 15 pounds and work on toning up (weight I was trying to lose when I got pregnant). I've been trying to go on walks daily with LO. I use a Fitbit and like to accept the challenges people send me because it forces me to go out and get my steps in. DH likes to join us for walks in the evening so some days I go out twice. LOs pedi told me I could take him out running with me as long as it was on a nice smooth flat surface, so I'm slowly starting my running back up. I have a 15k in early November I need to get ready for. (And a 10k the weekend before.) I'm also trying to watch what I eat/portion sizes.

Now that I am back to work my only real option is to workout in the evenings. I could work out in the morning but I would rather get as much sleep as possible. I have been getting outside to run which is quite refreshing.

Trying to meal plan a little healthier (ie, meat and veggies instead of last minute pasta casserole).
Sunday I got both horses out and groomed them with the big kids. Yesterday I put Thor in the Moby and vacuumed the whole house. This morning I walked for 45 minutes with friends while big kids played on playground toys at the local elementary school.
My mom says she can tell I'm losing weight. I really want to go running soon!

Wish I could figure out an exercise routine but every time I think about it DS wakes up again and I'm not coordinated enough to do exercises with him. So far just working on healthy choices and working out a schedule where DH can take the baby so I can ride the horses - my favorite type of workout. With any luck, I can still catch a couple barrel competitions before the season ends.

I pretty much can't do any type of working out other than walking and maybe lifting weights. Jogged about 100 yards tonight, and my defibrillator gave me a warning, apparently my heart rate nearly doubled just from that. Sigh. I am about 20 lbs under my prepregnancy weight due to all the lasix when I was in the hospital but I still have quite a bit to lose.
