I was given the go ahead to do some of my own cleaning again and I'm super excited! Some things around the house had really fallen behind. The one thing that is absolutely driving me insane is the toilet. The hole where "things" flush down has a pretty severe bend in it that my toilet brush just can't reach. I guess without it being cleaned as regularly as I used to, it got yucky. It has built up quite a stain. I've tried vinegar and baking soda, regular cleaning gunk...I just can't get it clean. Has anyone else had this problem and have tips I could use?
I bought the works from dollar tree and it worked well on our basement toilet that doesnt get used often. Just put it in and left it over night and was much better in the morning.

My MIL swears by alka-seltzers tabs. She drops one in her toilet every few days. I guess the bubbles help break up the stains? I have never tried it but it may be worth a shot if you have some lying around.
Is it a regular stain or like a hard water stain? We had hard water deposits build up in the bottom of our bowl and what worked for us was to drain as much water as possible and then pour a whole container of CLR in there and let it sit for 12-24 hours, then flush and scrub.
