He is 100% walking. I miss crawling. He can practically run to get something he wants now and I am not fast enough to catch up!!

Like my video showed last week, DD is walking at least half the time. There was about 2-3 weeks between "first real steps" and actually trying to walk often.

He gets evaluated August 20th, so about 2 more weeks of waiting.  So that'll be progress!

Zoey is still having a good time with cruising on things, she will walk a bit holding on to the walker but she just sits down after awhile. Based on her late coming around to crawling/standing/cruising.. I don't think we will be walking for awhile!

No cruising or walking here yet. He is starting to be able to pull himself up but can't stand unassisted at all.

Both my girls walk mostly, and run some (usually away from me. While squealing). They also climb everything, like the table (uugghhh).

They are 13m, at 13m DS was just starting to really walk. The pedi said that girls tend to develop faster than boys, and they also have DS to mimic in addition to us and each other (whereas it was just us and DS).

pretty much RUNNING constantly. thank God she still doesn't know how to open cupboards and cabinets or I'd really be screwed.

DD took a few steps here and there for about a month or so and then while I was on vacation and my parents were watching her she decides to walk across the room and now she pretty much only walks. It was one week after her first birthday.

This is exactly what Junie started doing about 2 weeks before she was full-blown walking for REAL. Get ready.

DD2 tries to open doors. I'm just like "thank god she can't reach it and get a good grip." Stahp kids, stahp. lol!

She's walking more and more, but also figured out how to escape via the dog door yesterday, so that was fun.

DS tries to open the back door. I accidentally locked DH out the other day because I was worried DS was going to get the door open. He pooped and I went to change him and forgot to unlock it. Oops.

Im mobile too so can't vote. Parker is walking all the time. He had been standing for awhile and taking a few steps for over a month. A week after his birthday he took off walking and he hasn't looked back since.

We are walking and running. He took his first steps not holding on just before he turned 10 months and at almost 13 months he's a little pro!

Now he's climbing everything. He can get on all the furniture by himself and I keep having to pull him off of the cat tree.

I've definitely had that thought while I'm waddling after Junie. I used to be a child-leash mocker, but now I have a teeny bit more sympathy!

If Elias starts running around helter-skelter, I won't be shy about a baby leash. Safety first! I see too many kids bolt into our parking lot at work, and we are right next to a very, very busy road.

I use it as needed. Pushing a stroller with the girls plus DS walking beside (who is a runner with poor listening skills) yup... It's came in handy a few times. If DH is with us it's unnecessary, but just me... Yeah, not enough arms or legs or mes for that.

I've officially got a walker! I'm starting to feel bad for her little bum tho, she's falling left and right. I guess that's diapers are for!

I'm not completely anti leash, but we do play a game in crowded places (Disneyland especially) that we call "oldest kid on a leash". If your kid is 2-5, totally ok. 8-12, I'm a little concerned for you.
