I've been WTFing for a week. I thought babygirl just got used to all the attention and night nursing after she had a nasty cold for a few days. But nope. This is eerily reminiscent of the four month no sleep nightmare. She's doing everything shy of chanting "notsleeping, notsleeping, notsleeping!" For hours on end.
In a strange way, I'm glad it's sleep regression. Because now I know it will end. It will... Right?!?!?
Why does her sleep regression always come after something else confusing? Like a cold, or a dip in my supply or me going back to work full time? Why can't she make a little sign so I know what's going on and don't have to sleuth it out? More important, why the hell can't I remember this stuff for the next time it happens?
duckker I'm also a little relieved to find out this might be a regression. I had no idea, but have been in sleep HELL a lot more the last week or so. I thought it was me.
We thought DS was going through a sleep regression at 6 months but, he is just gassy from eating green beans or peas. Did the ladies that are going through the regression just introduce solids?
There were a couple nights in a row where he was up for a long time in the middle of the night and my first reaction was not another regression.... But, he just needed to fart. Gripe water works for DS. We give him 5 ML before we go to bed to prevent any additional wake up calls in the night. Sometimes he still needs a little bit more throughout the night. I am not trying to brag about our situation. I feel bad for you ladies.

You've GOT to be kidding me. 1st a darn wonder week, teething now this. That explains her waking up at random times and refusing to go back to sleep. All the while practicing her verbals sounds... Fuck. I'm gonna create a mommy club that will send mommas care packages around wonder weeks teething and sleep regression all filled with coffee and wine lol.. anyone interested.
Wine once this baby stays down. I'm thinking I should get a cardboard cut out of myself so when he wakes up and looks for me or daddy he'll see that and go right back to sleep.
Teeth, wonder week, and another sleep regression. How to deal should really have been covered in a prenatal class.
At 6mo its probably hard to tell between teething and introducing solids... DS woke up twice for feeds last night, we're hoping he's just going thru a growth spurt!
I can't tell if its regression or weaning off merlin suit. But then again we are weaning off the suit because he was waking a few times a night and I was finding him rolling around in the suit. One of the times I was sleeping on the floor of his room with him (sadly quite common these nights) and I woke up and he had gotten himself a few feet away and was grinning at me on all fours. Quite creepy. So anyway, maybe both? We also no longer co-sleep in bed because of this.
mommadozer last night DD woke up at 1 am and was restless the rest of the night (in our bed) due to gas. We really just started solids this week. I wonder if probiotics would be a reasonable idea.

I don't know what was up with S last night. Teething, gas, sleep regression but he was up 3 times between 8-9:30 and then hourly after midnight. I'm so glad it's Saturday and I could send him to go watch soccer in the living room with daddy.
DD apparently wants to join the party and oh the screaming! badw0lf I sympathize, the crying is bearable the screaming is plain awful. This is the stuff H is terrible at so I get to deal with a demanding baby and a pitiful/ impatient/frustrated daddy.
aggiebug what kinds of solids were making LO gassy? DS used to just have issues with peas and green beans but, he was super gassy yesterday and he did not have any green beans or peas. I'm hoping it is just a fluke since he tooth was breaking through as well.
