My mom and sister are staying over tonight. They just went out to pick up dinner and I'm relaxing on the couch with some wine. I'm ridiculously happy they'll be here to help occupy DS tomorrow since daycare is already closed.
Woohoo I got to 20 Hours in america on TWW. I think that one's the reward for getting through Simon dying.
"How do you know Kathy?" "She's my girlfriend. " "Is that corn out there!" "Nope. Trees." 20 Hours in America is one of my favourites. Simon dying is one of my least favourites. I loved him and CJ together.
Update... water main break about a half mile from here... they aren't Sur when it will be fixed...
Ugh, I'm sorry bluedot. I hope they get it repaired quickly and I'm glad it's not a house specific issue.
Just an FYI that you can sign up for Nixle.com and most of the time the township/surrounding area will notify you via text of stuff like that (construction, road closures, accidents, trash pick up delays...) if you don't already have it.
@elf828 while I am sympathetic to the weather situation in the NE...for real? Is there not still text/phone/email -- both to reach out to you and/or to make their decision via conference call or group email or whatever?
This hiring manager is probably out on the interstate with his shovel. Basic humanity > hiring elf. That must be it. Stop being such a fbitch, shell.

Oh and carissalynp I'm going to start C25K this week! Last time I started it, I got to week 2 and found out I was pregnant so hopefully I make it through this time.
Which reminds me, I have to AW that I stepped on the scale for the first time in months and am 35 pounds lighter than 2 years ago. I decided about this time then that I wanted to begin a healthier lifestyle.
That's so awesome! I actually weighed less right after I delivered than I had for a while... then gained some this year, because mostly I was tired which = quick easy non-healthy food and not exercising enough. I like c25k so far though! Trying to do strength on some of my off days.
carissalynptenniscourt Yay. I'm glad you guys are doing it too. I started it because I felt I needed a positive distraction in my life. So far I really like it. I am doing it on my treadmill at home right now because snow andplusalso I need some new sports bras before I take this out in public!
Ugh bluedot. I guess if there's no water, you'll have to drink wine. I joke, of course. Do you have a supply of bottled water? Hoping they fix it quick!!

That's what I'm thinking. Wouldn't he want this all sewn up before the snow actually starts?
I mean, life does go on. And it hasn't really "hit" yet, has it? (Sorry if it has and I'm just uneducated.)

No no no. CJ and Danny 4-Eva!
Oh, don't get me wrong, I LOVED Danny as well (and loved him on Studio 60 as well) but I liked the little fling CJ and Simon had.
Took my clingy coughing spitting up randomly baby to the Doc this morning: diagnosis - ear infection. I am baffled but glad there's a reason for all this nonsense and hopefully we can get him back to his sweet lovable self.
Side note we have him chocolate pudding today as a chaser to his medicine And he was the happiest baby ever. (It was maybe 4 spoons) He then returned to eating his yogurt which made me glad because I am not looking forward to the antibiotic poops again.

Tonight is weird. MH is working overnight. His 'normal' schedule includes 12 hour days and 12 hour nights both within the same week. He has not been on his 'normal' schedule in a month or more-he has been working 8 hour days M-F. After DD goes to bed, I'll be ALONE!!
carissalynptenniscourttessymessy, I just downloaded the C25K app the other day and plan to start it next Monday. I had never heard of it until a friend told me. It seems like something I can stick with and it's awesome you ladies are doing it too!
bluedot, sorry about the water! Hope they fix it soon.
avswolf (hugs) I hope you are doing better this evening.
laur, how it is down there? I believe it's heading up from LI into CT but we have almost nothing so far…

Ooh what are your plans? Any good trash tv?
I really don't know! I'm a sucker for reruns-watching Mike and Molly now. I think I'm going to make some pudding and see what I can find to watch.
