@joybaby5 I say cheese balls and sack too. I never even thought about it! Haha
avswolf I'm so sorry. It's hard to do the things you need to when you're stressed out about other things.
I just caught up with the thread all at once so I'm sure I missed things. My BIL and his dog moved in with us temporarily. He was supposed to close on a house at the end of December but there was a hang-up and now won't be until the middle of February.
Just some more hugs avswolf. Everyone has said it already but want to reiterate that you can and should turn to us whenever you need to. I hope your night turns around.

Oh and carissalynp I'm going to start C25K this week! Last time I started it, I got to week 2 and found out I was pregnant so hopefully I make it through this time.
Which reminds me, I have to AW that I stepped on the scale for the first time in months and am 35 pounds lighter than 2 years ago. I decided about this time then that I wanted to begin a healthier lifestyle.
I feel so guilty enjoying our Colorado weather today with all of you NE ladies facing so much snow, but holy cow, I am loving this! Capris and flip flops in January! And bookshelves, you inspired me with your post about cleaning your windows the other day. Living room and kitchen windows are clean, inside and out!
Of course, there is snow in the forecast again by Friday. Gotta love Colorado!
My child went into major meltdown mode around 5, so I've pulled out the big guns. It's HooplaKids time. He hasn't moved for last 20 minutes. Thank the Lord for youtube.
carissalynp I just started C25k. What week are you on? I started week 2 yesterday.
I just started week 2 today! Actually my days are supposed to be T/TH/Sat but because of the snow tomorrow I went today. I'm doing jst treadmill for now because I live on a huge hill that goes on for a mile, plus they haven't shoveled the sidewalks here. I actually considered repeating week 1 but I got through week 2 day 1! I actually got to a point in the last run cycle where I actually felt I was in a groove and could keep going. I started a thread about c25k last week I think but it's probably bumped way down now.

That's so awesome! I actually weighed less right after I delivered than I had for a while... then gained some this year, because mostly I was tired which = quick easy non-healthy food and not exercising enough. I like c25k so far though! Trying to do strength on some of my off days.
Good for you tenniscourt! That is awesome and so inspirational to me right now. I'm where you were two years ago Here's hoping that two years from now, I'm a healthier version of myself
Every single snowstorm, someone somewhere posts a photo of empty bread shelves. And EVERY TIME, I have the same "Whoa!!!! Look at that empty shelf!!!! That's crazy!!!!" reaction.

The inspiration started when I bought a pair of skinny jeans in my normal size and they wouldn't fit. I refused to return them and instead decided to change myself. Well to be fair I ugly cried first.

Hmm...maybe I should pull out one of my (many) pairs of cute jeans that don't fit anymore

I'm ridiculous.
Ok well me too.
Me three. It's why I always keep emergency bread in my freezer.
armfruitshellbell I'm happy to know I'm not alone in my empty-bread-aisle amazement.
I'm obsessively switching between CNN and the weather channel. I want all the people to go HOME and hide! Eat your tacos and lunch meat and brie but stay safe!

Last winter we were in Atlanta for all the ice storms and that was a hectic crazy mess (because no equipment to get it cleaned up and we southerners apparently panic and don't know what to do and they released the whole damn city to go home at once)
I feel for you ladies up north and the crazy storms you're getting...just stay safe and warm as possible.
A lot of our clients are up in NY and PA and we weren't getting any responses today because of the weather.
((Hugs)) avswolf. Let me know if you need anything. Even if you want someone to talk through your business plan for your photography business and help layout the path forward. I hope you got a chance to get some exercise...that always helps me.
@elf828 that would make sense why you haven't heard anything and prob won't until the end of the week when they can dig out.
