AW: home from the NICU-84 days later

I know I've only posted here a couple times so far, but I wanted to share my good news with you all-after 84 days in the nicu, my 28 weeker is finally home! It's been a while since I intro'd, so here's the cliff notes version. 28w0d, emergency c section due to severe pre-eclampsia and falling movement from continuous nst. GBS infection, followed by sepsis, followed by (probable) meningitis, followed by hydrocephalus and emergency shunt placement. Born at 1 pound, 14 ounces, 13 1/2 inches long. Discharged at 5 pounds, 12 ounces, 18 1/2 inches long. Her due date was August 6. Born May 14. 

So excited!!!!!

I lurked here for a long time-love that rsv link pinned at the top. Reading old threads here made me feel like this was not the end of my world.
