Heading in, what are you thinking? I'm so nervous! This is a follow up because they didn't see a fetal pole last week at 5w6d and had a suspicious spot on my ovary (probably just the corpus luteum). I'm ok with whatever the outcome is - I've had some time to process. I am very pretty sick, though, so that's giving me hope.
Will you have an ultrasound? No, it's just an appointment with a nurse educator. I have to watch a video on how to be pregnant. I think they might run some labwork too.
Heading in, what are you thinking? Meh, not exciting. Just a boring talking appointment.

Day of appointment: today, just after noon
Weeks/days at appt: 6w2d
Will you have an ultrasound? Not to my knowledge
Heading in, what are you thinking? I'm anxious. I'm actually just meeting my fp (she also does ob) and we will decide if I can stay with her or if I'll be seeing a high risk ob because of my pre-e with DS. I'm hoping I can stay with her, and just monitor things closely, and have a high risk on backup, but I don't know how any of that actually works and if that's even feasible.

Day of Appointment: Tomorrow! August 11!
Weeks+days at appointment:7+1
Will you have an ultrasound? Yes!
Heading in, what are you thinking? At last weeks u/s I was feeling pretty nervous going in, this time I am feeling pretty relaxed and hoping to be released from my RE!.
Heading in, what are you thinking? I will barely be able to hold my shit together in the waiting room. This is a really emotional one for me, as it the milestone of my previous loss. It's bringing up a lot of feels.

YAY! Heartbeat again at 121! One more dating u/s in two weeks and then....
Will you have an ultrasound? No. They're both just blood work appointments
Heading in, what are you thinking? I'm a nervous wreck still. Yesterday's beta was 135, so that's decent, but I know that it's the doubling that really matters.
Day of Appointment: Tuesday morning for a 2nd beta blood draw.
Weeks+days at appointment: 4w3d
Will you have an ultrasound? Nope
Heading in, what are you thinking? Just really hoping those numbers have more than doubled. I POAS this morning and the line has gotten so much darker than it was so I am hopeful that things are moving right along.
*Update Us! Let us know how it went!
**UPDATE**
First BETA was 94 and now today (4 days later) it is at 647. For some reason I was really hoping it would be over 1000. I guess that was the number my PgAL brain was wanting for really no good reason. Numbers have more than doubled so I am content for now. Dr. Google has so many ranges for 4 weeks along so that was of no help.
Cancelled my RE appointment as well today. Really hoping I never have to schedule that appointment again! Going to get an U/S scheduled for the first week of September when I will be about 7 weeks along. These 3 weeks will be torture! I need to hear that heartbeat!
I felt the same way when I heard my numbers, they were totally within range but I really wanted them to be high to ease my PgAL brain too! It's amazing how we can psych ourselves out! I just had to tell myself to be content and happy, my numbers were normal and doubling...that's what matters! FX for a quick 3 weeks and a strong heartbeat!

Well it went just as I suspected. The nurse educator was really nice, and just asked me a shit ton of questions about my family history. The video was boring and I already knew just about everything it talked about. Then I had six vials of blood taken and gave a urine sample.

6?!?!
What all are they testing for?
I'm not sure. I will have to wait for the results.
