Well this has been a whole lot of nothing. Only have about 6-8 inches as of right now. Honestly a bit disappointed. I didn't want 30 inches, but this is almost a let down.
I think it started later here than they had predicted. We have high winds and a lot of drifts, so I'm not sure how much there actually is at this time, but it's coming down hard and now stopping anytime soon, so I think we're going to get quite a bit more.
20 inches here in New London County and still coming down!
Its still snowing quite a lot here. But overall I'm disappointed. I dont see why this requires a travel ban.
I do agree with the travel ban, if people were out driving (and you know they would be!) the roads would be much worse. The plows can keep everything good because there aren't accidents and traffic slowing them down
Yeah but my husband is stuck at his cousins house. They can't plow because of the ban and he's just sitting there. I slept terrible last night because he wasn't home. Sorry just cranky.

Hubs and I are both wfh today even though there's idk 2 inches out there. Our work bldg is running essential personnel only. He can't even get into the system. Wish I was having the same problem!

We've had maybe 6 inches so far on top of what was already on the ground but it doesn't look like it's slowing. I think whoever said it started later is probably right and it's going to keep on coming for a while.
The forecast has varied everywhere between 12 and 36 inches so it's anyone's guess what we'll actually get. Thankfully we're not in the blizzard warning area now but since we live on a hill, a little wind drifts snow all over us. The year before last, it buried our cars in drifts.

I would give almost anything for our work system to go down. I'd love a reason to not be wfh today. Although at the same time, this week and next week are really busy for us so no work today would probably mean more hours the rest of the week and weekend.

We've got a good bit, but nothing like I was expecting. It's hard to tell how much we've got, since it's drifting so much. It's still coming down hard and heavy, though. We'll see what it looks like tonight.

Hopefully they will lift it soon, I hate sleeping alone too!
