An early TOTH to the OB where I'll actually be delivering for making it seem like they aren't going to hassle me about moving when I'm 34-35 weeks pregnant. Seems like it'll be easy enough to even get an appt when I'm visiting home in December.
TOTH to all of you ladies for being so supportive and encouraging while I was going through my uncertainty this week. I felt the love and I appreciate it!
Ann612, I don't think that was necessarily a slight toward you. So many people make the mistake, and no one will learn if it's not brought up.
I understand.
From my perspective, I felt awful. Several people made the point actually. It was simply my ignorance in the difference in the terminology. Anyone who knows me IRL or even has seen my past posts on here knows I am incredibly supportive of all things LBGT. It bothered me that anyone might think differently about me. And to have it pointed out again many days (weeks?) later - well it just doesn't feel constructive. I made an innocent mistake and I corrected and apologized for it as soon as I realized.
TOTH to my H on Sunday night for saying, "I'll do bath time and put L to bed if you want to go get ice cream."
I don't know if he realized, but that was a DOUBLE win for me. Not have to deal with bedtime (which has been rough lately-thanks 2 year molars) - WIN. Ice cream? Um, very clear WIN.

Dude relax, no one thought you were a bigot. I thought "oh there's another person who doesn't know the difference between gender and sex. I should tell her. Oh, @ismellbooks did! Good!" And wittyandwaiting appreciated that it was done so that others could be educated, too. It was not a personal attack on you. Deep breaths.

Ann612 Not a slight towards you at all! I love, Love, LOVE that you changed it. I was tipping my hat to @ismellbooks because I have a lot of respect for people who notice things and say something; she took the time to say something and now you (and others) know. No big deal my friend.
As a lesbian woman it makes my heart smile that somebody (who wasn't me) pointed it out and it also made me my heart smile that you owned it and made the change. No judgement here.
I never took it as you not being supportive or being a hater at all. I'm sorry that I made you feel that way.

Hopefully we're all good.
yes - thanks!
Sorry if I read too much into it - it can be hard via the internet some times. Generally, I really don't like pissing people off, so I admit I may be more sensitive here than the average bear.
I really appreciate you explaining it!! We are totally good.

wittyandwaiting, I had one of those ginger candies last night, too. I was sweating while eating it because it was too spicy. It seemed to help a little, though. Do you live by a Trader Joe's? They have a non-alcoholic ginger beer that is very tasty - not too spicey, but there's plenty of ginger flavor. My store was all out last time I tried, but I'm going to call them soon!

Sorry about the puking.
Their ginger beer is on point. So hit or miss finding it in the stores though!

I live close to something like a Trader Joe's so I'll take a look. I've been cutting the ginger candies in half because they are a little much.
Also TOTH to jags8, and anyone else who starts daily threads. jags8, for PGAL so it keeps my crazies in check. Anyone who starts daily threads keeps the board moving.

My TOTH goes to my coworker who works in a different department who came to my defense when a vendor was trying to imply the invoice I processed was late. She further went on to say how much her department enjoys working with me and I'm "on the ball." Her words really made my day.

Whoops those last few letters were courtesy of DS' tiny little hands. They shot out like an anaconda right as I was clicking send. It's too cute, so I'm going to leave it and not edit it.
