Hi! Popping back in! I have only used my Solly so far and I love it ! I have a maya ring sling but I ddont find their tutiorial on YouTube helpful - can anyone recommend one ? It also said not to wear baby under 8lbs? I don't tjink my LO is there yet. I really want a woven now after reading this thread
jgesi legs out is actually recommended now but the wrap needs to go knee to knee fully. Then once wrapped it's really easy to push up on their feet and get that perfect m position. Froggied is tricky because you need to be sure all weight is on their butt and none on the legs.

Ahh ok. I'm assuming you mean the upper portion of the criss cross needs to reach the knees?

The fabric that forms the seat (that cradles their butt) needs to reach the back of the knees and the knees should be higher than the hips.

Used our moby again today. Monster was all snuggled in, and slept through 3 meetings, and checking locker combinations. Andplusalso, it kept us both warm since the ac in my hall and classroom is on the freak so its like 65 degrees.

Has anyone figured out how to nurse in a rs or woven? The cluster feeding has started and I don't think I'm going to get much done here if I don't figure out how to nurse while wearing B. I've watched all the YouTube videos, but even wearing him still makes me nervous....
Still wearing my newborn sized one month old baby (7.5 lbs today!) in the Boba wrap, but just placed an order for the Ergo and the mesh infant insert. I hung out with a friend that had one, and it was way easier getting her daughter in/out. Excited!

Is the mesh cooler than the regular one? (I didn't know there was a mesh one...)

Debating a new ring sling...I have one, but its loaned out to a friend right now...but I want a new one anyway...I blame it on the link that kaeguri shared...I really want this one now. The colors are so pretty. I know it'll get a lot of wear with in and out at preschool for my dd twice a week, cuz I won't wanna lug the carseat. Oh the dilemma!!

That one is beautiful!! I've been looking at a few on that site too. I'd love a blue ombré one.

I'm trying so hard to talk myself out of it though...I have a homemade wrap, a beco gemini, and a toddler tula already...plus the loaned out ring sling...I don't NEED it...

I know there was some talk before about baby carriers but I don't remember the general consensus, Tula maybe. I have been using the k'tan for now, but I want to get a different carrier for when our little guy is a bit bigger. I have a 2 and 3 year old to chase after in addition to this LO, so I plan on wearing him a lot. There are lots of options out there that have good reviews. So, what say you ladies of A15, Tula, Lillebaby, Ergo, Beco Gemini, or other? FWIW it gets cold in the winter and hot in the summer, if that would change your decision.

FTM that hasn't worn with a structured carrier yet, but in my research it seemed Tula got the most love and Ergo had the largest market share of users. I wanted a Tula because pretty, but ended up getting an Ergo because sales. I don't plan on using it until he can fit in it without the insert - we are also using the K'Tan for now.

I have a Beco Gemini that I love! For one it doesn't need an infant insert to be used for young babies. Huge plus. I also had an Ergo but sold it because I preferred the beco. I got a Toddler Tula once my dd outgrew the Gemini and love it so much, but we didn't get it until she was 18 mths.
For those with anErgo, does your husband, boyfriend, etc also use it? I want a carrier that is comfortable for both of us.
My BF uses our Ergo a lot. More than I do. We bought the organic black one. He's very broad shouldered and I'm more petite up top and it fits us both well and easily adjusts to fit.
