For those with anErgo, does your husband, boyfriend, etc also use it? I want a carrier that is comfortable for both of us.
Yep, DH bought his "own" carrier when DS2 was born, but I ended up using it also bc I liked it so much (Beco Butterfly, which makes us old old old!). I might end up getting a new one for this baby and letting DH really have his own carrier, ha ha ha.
Has anyone figured out how to nurse in a rs or woven? The cluster feeding has started and I don't think I'm going to get much done here if I don't figure out how to nurse while wearing B. I've watched all the YouTube videos, but even wearing him still makes me nervous....
We do in our wrap. I usually just do a hip carry in the front so I'm really only loosening and tightening one shoulder. I also use a rolled up washcloth to hold up either my breast or baby's head, depending on our activity level lol. Just practice. It doesn't hurt to practice. Do it in front of a mirror so you can get a sense of where the fabric/baby should be. I took a picture to make sure all looked good for babywearing 102 to critique lol.

We tried our Girasol woven wrap for the first time today! It felt quite a bit more comfortable than the K'Tan, but took more effort to get him calm and wrapped up. Practice should help with that though!

I just caved and bought a linen sling from huckleberryquinn... I love the moby, but it is such a beast to take on and off, hopefully a sling will be easier.

Inside baby still but I see myself buying one from there in the near future!

Ok y'all...I'm going to do it.
Ring Sling!!!
Do I get this one because this sweet boy is my angel baby, but is it too girly looking for using with a boy?? Or do I get this one because it's a beautiful color and I'll be carrying a boy?
I'm probably over-analyzing the whole thing honestly...

I love the first one!! Screw the gender colors and go with you you like best!

I really like the rainbow one personally. And there is no such thing as over thinking anything in regards to motherhood.

Both of those slings are lovely, so I don't think you could go wrong. I am a sucker for rainbow colored things, as you can see by the Girasol wrap I picked. I personally don't think the carrier has to match the sex of your baby, since I see it more as an extension of what you are wearing rather than your baby. Though, I wouldn't classify that rainbow ring sling as overly "girly" either.
oopsiedaisies another vote for the rainbow. I wouldn't classify it as girly. Also it wouldn't really matter if it was. I use a rainbow chevron pattern ring sling with Miles. I got it before I knew the sex based on the fact that I'm the one wearing it!
H tried to wear DS in a moby wrap yesterday to give me a break. He needed a refresher course on getting it on. Let's just say we are going to need to practice more. He had good intentions but DS was just not comfortable or situated correctly. DS just "yelled" at his dad so I had to take him to calm him down.
Oh wow that's fast! Which one did you end up getting?
For those with ring slings, how secure are they? I have a boba and I like it because it feels very secure and I can bend over, do housework, etc with it without having to worry too much. But it's pretty hot and cumbersome. The ring sling looks a lot more comfortable, but not quite as secure. Any thoughts on this?

I went for the rainbow one. I'm super excited. I loved my first sling with my dd. The key is to make sure it's made with verified SlingRings. Make sure it's wrapped through them properly and you've got it snug.
