1) Post a pic of yourself pre-pregnancy (if you have one). Tell us about it. This is a pic of me about to head to the gym and lift with DH. It was taken 4 months prior to pregnancy. DH is from Cincy, so he bought me the Bengals gear. Even though he calls them “choke artists” for always losing, he still likes to support them! Here is also a pic of me boxing. I love, love, love it and miss it! The class is really intense, so I can't do it pregnant, but will after baby.
2) What did you do (activities, events, hobbies, etc) pre-pregnancy that you don’t do now due to pregnancy? Drink margaritas. Oh, how I miss you. Also—go out dancing with my girls. I feel awkward going out and getting all dolled up when I’m in this state.
3) Anything you’ve discovered about yourself during the pregnancy? I discovered that even though I am a good eater pre-pregnancy, during each pregnancy I can’t help to give in to temptation and indulge in some of my cravings every once in a while. I figured it’s only 9 months of my life…I might as well sweets and fast food at random for a few months.
4) What is something you cannot wait to do after you have the baby? Lift heavy again (I cut my weight down by 50-60%), get on a rollercoaster, and go to a rock concert! I wanted to go to Rock on the Range this year, but since it’s here May 17-18th, and it’s mainly a mosh pit, probably not the best of ideas. Oh--one more thing: Wrestle with my kids! We used to have so much fun, and now I can't chase them around or get as crazy with them as I used to. I can tell they miss their "old mommy", too.
This is me (and our dog) a few weeks before I got pregnant with DD1. I am sure I have some from right before this pregnancy too, but the difference is stronger if we compare to before I ever had kids, haha.
Pre-pregnancy, I liked running, although I only had time for it sporadically, watching movies in their entirety without falling asleep, and drinking margaritas.
Because of complications I've experienced along the way, my pregnancies have taught be how strong I really can be.
Post-pregnancy, I can't wait to drink a margarita! But on a more serious note, I have always wanted to try the Insanity DVDs and some other fitness stuff, so I'd like to get in good shape again. It's been a while since that was the case.
1. DH and I at the lake where my Mom lives. This was right before we started TTC in which I cut my workouts to almost non existent. I was concerned I was exercising too much which was why I was having problems TTC. I was in the best shape I've ever been in here.
2. We went out a lot on the weekends with friends or to karaoke bars. As mentioned above, I worked out like 5-6x a week, mainly lifting and HIIT.
3. I'm actually the happiest I've ever been in my life right now.
4. I am looking forward to getting back to the gym. We now have a home gym that will be great while LO is a newborn and when I can resume activity. I would also really like a pomegranate mojito
1) Post a pic of yourself pre-pregnancy (if you have one). Tell us about it. Out hiking with a friend of mine at the local nature preserve. I was so little (just barely in the healthy weight range for my height/age).
2) What did you do (activities, events, hobbies, etc) pre-pregnancy that you don’t do now due to pregnancy? I was very active. Always hiking, swimming, outside doing anything fun. Now the most I can do is a short, easy hike before I get really tired.
3) Anything you’ve discovered about yourself during the pregnancy? I've got motivation and drive to better myself that's stronger than I ever imagined. I want to be the best momma I can for my son!
4) What is something you cannot wait to do after you have the baby? Get back into my old jeans. It's a long shot, I'm not sure if my hips will go back into 0s, but fx lol. I also can't wait to just be a mother! To watch my son grow and learn, everything about motherhood excites me.
Here's a picture I snapped yesterday for comparison.

1. There are very few pictures of my full body. I am a very curvy person, normally. So I had to go vintage. This picture is probably like five years old. The hubs and I were still dating and playing putt putt down the shore. I think I was probably about 120ish. I haven't seen that number since Hunter was born.
2. I've always done Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, and I started running last September. I tried to keep running after I got my BFP, but my body was just telling me no. I miss it
3. What have I discovered about myself during pregnancy? I hate being pregnant. Seriously, I am over it. I am over the restrictions and I am over other people acting as if I am about to break at any second. People around me got into an uproar because I almost had to drive out to Pittsburgh on Saturday. They were all "YOU CAN"T DO THAT!! YOU'RE PREGNANT". Sooo... I can't drive? What the hell does that have anything to do with it?
4. Buy normal clothes. Maternity clothes are just not cute. And drink, but I feel like that goes without saying.

Love that most of the hobbies include drinking alcohol. That goes without saying though right? Pool and beer. Girlfriends and wine. And so forth and so on!
onceinlovewithamy You are like the most photogenic person ever! Ive never had a good candid picture. Ever!
Pre DD1 I look like I'm in pain because I am. I had just PR'd my half marathon time with an active GI bleed (I would have been faster but with 3 miles to go I had to slow down to ten min miles to survive the cramping--I don't recommend it) and it was still my best time... I'm not fast but all that matters is a PR in running (1:52:07 for me) I love to ski Pre DD I loved (still do!!): hiking, running, camping, backpacking, swimming, biking (casually not mountain or road racing), river rafting, kayaking, skiing (snow), snow shoeing, snow hiking, sledding/inner tubing on snow, rock climbing--outdoor preferably, swimming, river sitting (favorite beverage in a shallow spot with a camp chair and either company or a book/magazine), knitting, reading, wine, beer, coffee, chocolate, good food... Am I missing anything?!?! I freaking miss the northwest!! (Boating, crabbing...) Pre DD2 (this pregnancy) Racing with DH and DD in the jogging stroller, DD needed a snack before the race (July) and my friend snapped this pic. I love it because I was able to incorporate DD into my running. My half this fall was supposed to be my big comeback race and I ended up ktfu so I didn't PR and barely finished--but I did it

1) Almost to the finish line at my first Spartan race! I hate to run but I love obstacle racing! My goal for 2016 is to do the 3 races (4 mile, 8 mile, 12 mile with obstacles) all in one year.
2) What did you do (activities, events, hobbies, etc) pre-pregnancy that you don’t do now due to pregnancy? Races, heavy lifting (out of breath), all things involving booze
3) Anything you’ve discovered about yourself during the pregnancy? I do a relatively decent job keeping my anxiety in check. So many extra decisions with twins involved.
4) What is something you cannot wait to do after you have the baby? Pop a bottle of champagne. Like most likely a very expensive one to celebrate the completion of our little family. Especially since I expected to only be a family of 4.
2. Pre-Pregnancy activities? I absolutely love playing softball! It's how the boyfriend and I met. He says I will be back on the field in May. I'll never say but I know he is right as long as I don't have a c-section or any complications. Of course with softball comes an ice cold beer. I cannot wait.
3. Discovered about myself? I always knew I was stubborn but I am seeing just how stubborn I really am! I do not do anything to hurt myself or the baby but I still do things everyone tells me I shouldn't. Most of the time just to prove that I can. Pregnancy is not a disability.
4. After the baby? I am looking forward to being more active again and being able to move like I used to!

Not sure why it is so big but it would only let me post a pic from my phone. Sorry! This is me and my H before I chopped all of my hair off. Man he is handsome hey?
2) What did you do (activities, events, hobbies, etc) pre-pregnancy that you don’t do now due to pregnancy?
Nothing too different than now to be honest with you. But that could be because it is winter in Wisconsin so I can't exactly go rock climbing haha.
3) Anything you’ve discovered about yourself during the pregnancy?
I am a whiney bitch when I throw up. I have a crazy high pain tolerance but apparently when I am nauseous my life is over.
4) What is something you cannot wait to do after you have the baby? To be able to lift things or function normally without my H saying "HEY!!! YOU'RE WITH CHILD BE CAREFUL."

veganontuesdays - Awww...you two are adorable! And this made me laugh because my DH is the same way: "To be able to lift things or function normally without my H saying "HEY!!! YOU'RE WITH CHILD BE CAREFUL."
This is me pre-babies (I'm on #3) on our honeymoon in Italy in 2010. My first name is Maria, so my husband made me pose with the "Ave Maria" on this stone wall.
2) What did you do (activities, events, hobbies, etc) pre-pregnancy that you don’t do now due to pregnancy? The obvious thing is anything involving drinking- going to beer festivals, wineries, out for a coctail etc.
3) Anything you’ve discovered about yourself during the pregnancy? I love being pregnant and my husband finds me super duper sexy for some reason
4) What is something you cannot wait to do after you have the baby? Drink wine, work out a little bit harder, work on my pre-baby body since after this one I am done!
This picture is from the many times DH and I went to the shooting range. He is former military and was going to become a cop which got put on hold bc of shoulder issues.
One activity I havent continued is going to the range, I miss it! We love to spend a lot of time outdoors with our dog, but I can't wait until its warmer.
One thing I've learned about myself is that I don't like being babied. I like to do things for myself. Other than that I love not carrying as many groceries.
After pregnancy I can't wait to go to zumba and the gun range. I also can't wait to start snuggling my baby!
This was taken a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant. It's my Deadlift PR (I think, I broke it twice that day)
We still do most of the things we did prekids, but there's probably less drinking involved we are both avid Crossfitters, we bike a lot, I like running, I have done 1 full marathon, 2 half marathons, 1 Olympic distance triathlon, and 3 sprint triathlons. We are beer snobs and love to go to tastings and there are quite a few breweries opening up around us. We hang out on the driveway with a firepit, beer and friends almost every Friday night when it's warm enough. It's pretty flat here, so winter sports suck.
After DD, I slowly got back into fitness with the jogging stroller. I took 45 minutes off of my previous half marathon time. I only need to take off 9 minutes to get under a 2 hiur half time, and since I didn't work out at all when I was pregnant before, I hope it's in reach.
I discovered I was a control freak with DD, and I discovered that wasn't going to work if I was going to be happy. I had to learn to let go of a lot of things.
Besides drink? Move without groaning would be nice

I am slightly in awe of your ladies who lift, run marathons and do any kind of competition.
I like to sit on the couch. A lot.
Edit: I just found this picture of me (in the purple), 10 days before the monster's due date. My belly button is indicating that the turkey is clearly done.
Yay I finally got it to work! The first pic was from this past Memorial Day. (That is NOT DH btw). The Second photo is from a hair convention/awards in Vegas this past July. (NAHA if anyone is familiar)
Cosmetology was my life pre-pregnancy. I got my BFP 3 days before graduating and decided to just stay home.
I've learned that I love and care about people much more than I thought I did. I've always had a pretty indestructible wall around me, and now I think it's made of bubbles...
There are honestly so many things I'm looking forward to doing when the baby comes. I just can't wait to be a mom...I know it sounds cheesy, but I get so stupidly excited over the fact that I'm going to be a mom really soon!!
Left is me about 3-4 wks preg with DS, right is me with DS first pic was scalloping on a trip with my girl friends (and unaware I was KU) the second pic is from a cruise.
Pre pregnancy/children- I went to the gym a lot with DH. I enjoyed wine too. I know I could still go to the gym, but logistically it's tough and I can't find the time
I've discovered how amazing the human body is during pregnancy. I love watching my belly grow. I've also learned it's tougher second time around. I'm already walking and feeling like an old lady.

You have that "I'm so effing done being pregnant" look. I've had that many-a-times. I'm anticipating it again in April

Post a pic of yourself pre-pregnancy (if you have one). Tell us about it -- this picture was me going out to a club. I love this shirt! The night was rather frustrating and I was ready to go home before it even really started.
2) What did you do (activities, events, hobbies, etc) pre-pregnancy that you don’t do now due to pregnancy?
We usually go on a vacation randomly... Like hop up and say "let's go to Vegas next week". I kinda miss that, but I don't feel the greatest to be hopping on and off planes. Plus I'm kinda scared of that.
3) Anything you’ve discovered about yourself during the pregnancy?
Uhm....trying to think about how to say this. Pregnancy is not for me. I wanted three kids, but I don't even know if I want to do this shit twice. I just want to get to the kid part. I'm not sure how people love being pregnant. Can someone who does tell me what you love about it please? Serious non snarky question.
4) What is something you cannot wait to do after you have the baby? Drink a margarita! that is my number thing to do! I also can't wait to shop for new clothes... For myself. Oh, and have sex without discomfort.
ETA: I can't wait to return to rope wall yoga! It helped so much with flexibility and toning. Google it if you haven't heard of it.

nurserachel22 - I have a love/hate relationship with pregnancy, but since you asked, here is the part I love:
- I love knowing I have a creation inside of me that is MINE. Sounds selfish, but it’s amazing in itself to know we created another human being, and that human being is going to look up to you, depend on you, love you (until they become a teen…ha!). It’s just great knowing you are growing a mini version of you. - When he kicks/jabs/moves, I feel like he is wanting to communicate with me in some way. What I mean by that is it’s like he enjoys hearing my voice, enjoying the foods I am eating, etc. It’s like I share a secret that only myself and the baby gets. - It’s nice to not have a period. ‘Nuff said. - It’s also nice to not have to worry about birth control!
