I just booked our honeymoon! Ahhhh, so pumped. We're going to spend the weekend in Bend Oregon (if you've never been YOU NEED TO) August 29th for two nights and I can't wait. DH has never been and I know he's going to love it, with all of the golf courses and breweries. I already told him we're going white water rafting one of the days which is my favorite thing to do there, and maybe go home with a souvenir honeymoon baby
I love bend!! One of my favorite places. It is about 5 hours from home for us.

My coworker just told me she's KU and due in February. That makes three of my closest friends/CW's at work KU. I hate this feeling of being happy for other people and then feeling sorry for myself. womp womp.

Same! That whole area (Bend, Sunriver, Eagle Crest) has always been my favorite vacation spot, you just can't beat it. It's a little over 3 hours from us so it's very convenient to get to.
My childhood friend passed away last weekend and left behind her 4 year old son and fiancé. My best friend was super close to her and my entire graduating class is reeling. The city I went to school at is pretty small, so most of the class remained close. It's so tragic and today she's being laid to rest. I'm sad I can't be there, but my mom went to the wake over the weekend for me. It's so hard to get on FB and see everyone sharing her pictures everyday and knowing that she's really gone brings me to tears. Sorry for the tl/dr. I'm just still in complete shock and I feel so bad for her little boy.
@wallflwr926 she will probably have a better day than when I gave my director my notice. I was off on a Friday and got the call that I got the new job. She isn't in over the weekend so I was told to put it in writing and slip it under her door. Well later that night we had a resident accuse an aid of abusing him (he has severe dementia and it ended up being a false accusation but we have to report and investigate every claim) so everyone around had to write up statements of the event and leave them under her door. So Monday morning she walked in to a half dozen statements and my notice all in a pile under her door. She still hasn't spoken to me and its been over a week.
Oh, my word. Our investigation process is so different.

How fun. Bend is fantastic. Make sure to hit up 10 Barrel! I'm not a huge beer drinker, but the food is always fantastic!
I was just added to a Tupperware party on Facebook. Is Tupperware still a thing?
We had our "Community Spirit" day in our HOA this past weekend. Basically games for kids, some informational booths and local (as in people who live there) vendors.
Someone set up a stand for their Tupperware business. So apparently it is still a thing.
Also, it was right next to the Jamberry booth, and a few booths down was a Mary Kay consultant.
