Red/Hard lump after shots?

As stated in my other thread, DD had her 15mo shots on Friday.



Since then, she's had a red, hard lump at the injection site. It's not super red but it is obviously red, if that makes sense. When I touch it, I can feel a hard lump.



Is this normal? Other than that she is fine, no fever, etc.



It's kind of worrying me and will be taking her in to our family doc later today, just wanted to get any opinions or similar experiences?



She has never reacted to any other shot like this.



In that leg, I believe she got the Pneu-C booster.

My DD has gotten a similar bump after receiving shots (not sure exactly which ones caused it). It lasted around a week total. I'd say keep an eye on it and as long as it doesn't appear to get worse or be causing to your LO pain I wouldn't worry too much.

This happened to us at 15 month shots. She had a red mark for almost 2 weeks. Just keep an eye to make sure it's not growing.

This happened at LOs 12m shot. It went down after two days.

My doctor told us one of her 15 month shots usually left a bigger red mark/bump then normal - it didn't happen for us though.
