I had that exact thing happen with one of my pregnancies. It shouldn't affect the pregnancy at all. Be warned that you may have random continued events in the weeks to come, as the remaining blood that is still trapped slowing makes its way out little by little.
I'm so glad that everything is ok! That is very scary. I had an SCH with DS2. I spotted almost every day from weeks 8-14, when it finally resolved. Like armfruit said, there may be more blood trapped and it can take several weeks to heal up.
DS: Born 8/2/12 at 31 Weeks due to unexplained PTL -------------- ISO a new baby to wear since 10/13 - DX: MFI IVF w/ ICSI - July '15: 13R, 13F, 1T - 6 Frosties - BFP - It split, It's Twins!
The difference in those two heartrates is minimal. 105 is a great hb for not even being 6 weeks yet! During my scan a week and a half ago, the first time they measured the hb it was 132. They measured it one last time at the end and it was at 128. The heartrate definitely varies just like ours does (to a smaller degree). Try to relax! I know, easier said than done.
Glad you got some answers, but holy crap for a scary night. They found a SCH on my first ultrasound and it's very scary indeed! Take it easy and try to keep positive.

That must have been so terrifying! I'm sorry you had to go through that. I hope you're able to rest today and remember that your (soon to be ex) OB was a jerk and that your baby was looking healthy and good! Now get some rest

So true. He is a jerk. I've wondered all day if he saw the SCH and chose not to tell me, or if he just didn't even bother looking past a supposedly low heart rate to see what else might be going on.
Oh jeez, I didn't even think of that! Yuck. Hope today is going well for you.
How scary! I am so glad you and the baby are ok!! Like others have said 105 is a great Hb for 6 weeks! My dr told me they look for anything between 90-100 at 6 weeks and anything more is just icing on the cake!

I'm so sorry you're going through this awful limbo. Why do the early days have to be so stressful? FX you get some reassurance soon and I have everything crossed for a healthy scan next week.
