My girl just pooped on the potty for the first time! It was completely unexpected. She said she wanted to nap early so we went into the potty. I heard a little pee, but was shocked when I went to wipe for her. I'm so excited and proud.
DD has peed on the potty three times, over the past 2 weeks or so. There were many other times she sat there and did nothing, but I am so excited and proud when I see pee in there. Lol. Never thought I'd say that.
The first two times I put DD on the potty she peed and I thought I had a small genius that would be potty trained right away. That was about 4 months ago...since then nothing. Other than playing with the toilet paper...it's encouraging to see others stories of success though - it gives me hope she will do something on the potty again

It's hit or miss for us. She's totally capable of peeing and telling me she has to pee on the potty. But half the time she just doesn't say anything. Part of our routine now is to put her on the potty before nap and before bed. I encourage her to let me know and ask if she needs to use the potty often but if she says no, I respect that. She's really into making her own choices right now.
I'm pretty sure K is never ever going to be potty trained. She doesn't care about the potty. At all.
DD1 was the same way. We had some success with the 3-day method when she was 28 months but then a big setback and finally really PTd her (very easily) when she was 3.

That is so exciting! Back in July, DD pooped on the potty and Im sure the planets aligned at that moment I plopped her little butt on the potty, cause it hasnt happened since. I took a picture to cherish that turd-tacular moment (not shared with anyone, just for myself cause she looked so damn cute!). Since then, most mornings I put her on the toilet. If I ask her if she has to poo/pee or did poo/pee, its always a NO.

I took a picture of the poop and I sent it to my husband, Mom and sister. We are a weird family like that.
Today she was all excited because the poop from her diaper stuck to her bum when I put her on the potty before nap. The poop ended up in the pottu and she was so proud.
Mornings she wants nothing to do with the potty. I think it's because I don't get to her room quick enough.
I love that I have people I can talk to about all this that get it. Thanks, ladies.

We actually went out in underpants yesterday! I didn't even bring diapers with us. I'm so impressed with my boy today he pooped his underpants and got so upset, but we were able to move past it and be accident free the rest of the day. My little guy is growing too fast!
