I don't think the Alpha Phi sorority at Alabama should've been criticized for that recruitment video.

This is what all Alpha Phi people look like, in my experience. It would be one thing if the girls weren't really in the sorority and just used for the video--but that is really what they all look like. The video itself is shot like a music video...it is popular culture. If you don't like it do something to change it, but in the meantime don't single out these girls in particular.

Edit--I have never been a part of Greek Life nor had the desire to. Just my thoughts.

Sometimes I get fast food (crap food), pay with cash, and put my trash directly in the big outside trash can so DH can't find any evidence (trash or credit card bill), because I lack self control and have eaten horribly since DD was born. Seriously, this is the behavior of an addict!
(Haven't done it in a few weeks, but still...)

I just thought it was sad. They're trying to recruit girls- why all the boob and ass shots, eating popsicles? Oh, because they're trying to recruit girls who feel their only worth is appearing hot for guys? I didn't think it was some huge controversy but just a sad reflection of what some women think they are worth.

Yes--it is sad that society has taught them that 'music video' culture is how to be attractive. IMO, it is part of a bigger problem...I think they were singled out and made an example of because they were an easy target.

Lol! I've hidden food wrappers before. I hide my ice coffee trash bc we are doing a challenge to not buy any and I suck at it!

I have coached someone through using a tampon. We were freshman in high school and she was on my club swim team. She was afraid to use them... But we were competitive swimmers, so she had to get over it. I'll never forget her throwing a new tampon in the toilet and watching it expand saying, 'is that what it does INSIDE of you?!'

I finished a package of Oreos all by myself this week. They were the special brownie batter ones. They weren't as good as I'd hoped, but DH wasn't gunna eat em...obviously I had to get them out of the house as quickly as possible. :-P

This is me exactly. DH really doesn't think we should be wasting money on fast food (but he gets to eat food for lunch at work while I'm at home), but I have no real problem telling him how badly I eat!

I will make sure fast food trash is out of site before H sees it sometimes. I have also paid with cash for treats I didn't want him to ask me about when looking at the credit card statement. Would he care? No not at all, but I would feel more guilty about the purchase if he knew.

Yeah for us it's usually foreplay, so not very long. It seems like oral takes forever (for both of us). And my jaw ends up hurting. Eff that.

They're limited edition that just came out. Brownies have become my just-for-me-item around here since DH doesn't like anything too cakey, so I had to try them. Honestly, it wasn't batter-y enough, though I could taste the attempt.

I went to an infant care class at an area hospital when I was pregnant. A state trooper came to talk about car seat safety & installation. Never once mentioned extended RF, not even that it's the federal recommendation. Just begged parents to keep RF until 1 (which is the law here).
Most people I know switched when their kid was 10-11 months.
