I now understand the mom cut. Anything to keep your baby from pulling your hair out. It's already been falling out in clumps, so I don't need tiny baby hands to help. DS is worst when he's nursing, but likes to grab it whenever I hold him. Super frustrating when I'm rocking him or trying to soothe him. He'll also grab my face and flail his free arm while nursing.

Oh my gosh, yes! I try and keep it pulled back as much as possible. Now he has taken to grabbing my ears when he can't get to my hair. These tiny humans are strong too!

I've got short hair, but DS goes crazy when he gets access to long hair. Sometimes he'll get his hands in mine and ouch! it hurts! I try to get him to let go and tell him no, but I don't know when that'll actually become effective

Oh and S really loves pulling DH's beard too. Last night he had his toes and hands in it at the same time while H was trying to blow on his tummy. It was pretty funny. I fully expect to come home to a clean shaven husband tomorrow night.
Yes, very much! Also, if my bra strap is exposed when i am nursing, she likes to pull it as far back as she can and pop it against me...over and over and over. Annoying and painful!

Yes yes and yes... I currently have a scratch on my nose from a free flailing arm. She also sticks her hands in my mouth when nursing and YANKS! ouch! As for my hair it's always pulled back.

Oh yes, and the scratching and clawing at my gums. He should not go into dentistry, he has no finesse! Got a finger squarely up my nose today! No prizes though.
Yes! And my hair is also coming out in clumps. It's so depressing. I don't wash my hair near as much, because I hate the visual of it coming out. I'm getting my hair cut on Wednesday & highly considering chopping it off and my hair is in the middle of my back.
I'm also in the getting slapped club. I'm also fish hooked, kicked, lips grabbed, and nose grabbed. The only other people he slaps are those who get to close to me when I'm holding him....

hahaha I love the word assaulted. But yes I had to cut off my boob length hair when Jake was 2 months. I already had thyroiditis so my hair was falling out like CRAZY, and him pulling at it was giving me bald spots :S I also regularly get kicked in the stomach, clawed in the face, jammed up the nose, my gums scratched (seriously, this kid won't drink his last bottle without his hand in MY mouth. Weird! I Heard it only gets worse in toddlerhood!

DS has taken to digging his nails into my skin and twisting them. I have little baby bruises on my chest from him grabbing my skin and sinking his nails in. F'ing hurts kid!
I chopped my hair off when he first started grabbing it. I have a soft head and it brought tears to my eyes. I have cuts on my nose and bruises on my arms from him pinching me. I know he doesn't realize what he is doing but ouch baby!

He's added kicking me and pushing with his leg on my face or chest for leverage to the nursing abuse. He gave DH a titty twister and grabbed some chest hair, but DH has been largely spared.

I totally get the leverage comment! DS contorts not only himself but my boobs too, just for the right position.... It hurts sometimes! And he leaves bruises on my legs from the kicking!
I know I'm days behind on some of these threads but I've started wearing the silicone teething neclaces all the time now. It gives them something to grab and chew on constantly, which helps with the grabbing and pinching of hair and other body parts. Plus they are kind of fashionable? Or so I tell myself.
link me up! never heard of this but it sounds awesome!!!
