So the prior night, V only had one wake-up. Last night he was back to four. And not go back to sleep afterwards. So very tired. I was having trouble waking up to go nurse him. My brain didn't register that crying = get out of bed.

Took the day off for DDs 6 month appt this morning, worked out because I think I would have needed to stay home with her anyway she was not feeling well yesterday and last night was really rough.

mumomma13 DD only sleeps on her face now. We worried and tried to adjust her the first few times but that just resulted in an awake and angry baby so we just let her go. Sometimes I do stare at the monitor to make sure she's still breathing.

1. Admin expected me to do lunch duty today and only have 20 minutes to pump and eat. I told them no.

2. I posted what happened with the car seat on FB, and my MIL has already sent a text asking what kind of car seats we want! My MIL is the best!

Eff your boss. It probably took longer to compile the list and then type of out than maybe doing some of it themselves. I have people that work for me & stuff is never 100% finished. Not ever. Not for any of us. I had to learn to chill the eff out, things will get done. And if something is sooooooo important & someone is out sick/going on vacation/bombarded with other stuff, I get off my ass & do it, rather than bitch that it's not done. Sorry momma!

Anywho, Happy Monday? It's the second week of school here but it still feels as awful as the first. My husband is home all week in between transitioning into his new job, so he has baby duty today, and we'll be meeting at the pediatrician for the 6 month checkup this afternoon. It's the first time with afternoon shots instead of morning; hopefully it will go well.

Are any of you other teachers pumping at school? (maybe I'll put this in the mommy milk thread) I finally got a lock on my second interior door, so I'm feeling more relaxed about getting half nudie to pump in the middle of the day.

Ive been MIA for a while. DSD1 had some weird Blister looking thing on her face(forehead and nose) her mom took her to the Dr and found out it's something like a cold sore after more research we found out it was Roseola. So I had clean/Disinfect the entire house so DD wouldn't get it the a couple who we are close friends with got into a domestic violence dispute so I have been trying to help her with resources to get herself together. DD had 6mth appt the pediatrician today (who we like more than her other one) said DD is was advanced and she was impressed with her but she needs to drop her night feeds, and stop co-sleeping and sleep in her crib in her room. I'm sad..hold me someone. She said its time to do CIO and it's okay to do it now, and that DH needs to do the CIO in the middle of the night so she won't want BM.

Before I read all the spam, I just wanted to thank you all for the support the last few days. We got good news at DD's follow-up appointment today: she's gaining again after we went from 1 to 2 solids per day. Since she refuses the bottle, we are now upping solids to 3 times a day to continue to encourage gains, adding extra calories through avocados, expressed milk or formula mixed in oatmeal, olive oil mixed in the purees, etc. We'll still be nursing frequently and the lactation supplements finally came in the mail. We'll go back in 2 weeks to make sure things are still on the upswing, but I'm just relieved that something helped for now!

I really don't get why doctors comment on night feedings and cosleeping. I can see if you are having issues and it's not working for you. But really those things are up to the parents to decide.
