I mean, I've loved them forever.  But after the first hiatus, I learned to loathe Tom.  I saw both +44 and AvA in concert during that time.  Mark and Travis were amazing.  Tom was almost unbearable with AvA.  He was a totally different person than with blink.  Just so self-absorbed and a general asshole.  No thanks.  I hope they do well without him.

I will agree with you on Tom turning into an asshole. I also followed +44 and Angels. I also like Boxcar Racer. But Tom has been falling off the wagon for a while. He's not the same. The last time I saw Blink in concert, 2011, he didn't have the fun or energy of Mark at all. 

The chemistry was just not there. 

If anyone is leaving, I'm OK with it being him.. But just in general.. I'm sad.. quitting again.. We'll see if they can keep it running. Maybe I'm hanging onto the old days a little too long. But I was really looking forward to another Blink album and I was holding out hope for another tour!

I loved +44 after blink broke up. Then I was super excited to see blink in concert in like 2011. But honestly, it was the worst concert I've been to. Which was super disappointing. Tom didn't even try to sing the lyrics correctly. And I'm not meaning messing it up to be funny. He legit couldn't remember parts of songs. There was one point where he just stopped singing mid versus and picked it up 15 seconds later when he remembered. I wish I would have seen them 'back in the day.'

The concerts were fun and they knew the lyrics. I remember during my first one they had like a 6 foot inflatable penis on stage. I can't remember how or why that was there but my 16 year old self thought it was pretty funny.

Yes. I saw them in 1997 right when they were starting to get famous at the local punk music theatre. This was with their first drummer. I remember he was so homesick and they were only in nor cal.

I love blink! We went to their vegas show in October and I'm so glad we made the trip now! Did you read the rolling stone interview with Mark and Travis? They say some harsh things and say Tom is out for sure. Now Tom rebutted back with him and Mark talked about kicking Travis out last year! He quickly deleted the tweet but not before the media got ahold of it. It's getting ugly fast! I think Mark and Travis are finally tired of his BS. Travis never does Blink interviews.

Tom Delong wrote his side on Facebook last night. Said he didn't quit but could not commit. But from Mark and Travis's side that means they've just been burning their tires trying to figure out why Tom keeps delaying everything. Good riddance. I think Tom can work on his other endeavors and be replaced. #teammarkandtravis
