Soooooo no tooth this morning. He woke up around 12:30 in obvious pain. We snuggled in bed until he was back to sleep. Back in his crib around 2 after a bottle then woke up at 7 so not too bad.
Praying to the teething fairy to get this tooth l the way out

jjh1119 awe poor Lo ... Teething has got to be the worst.
Today is Lo & my first day in the hotel without daddy .., and I'm working. I've cancelled every call I can possibly get away with not joining for the next 3 days. Lo is doing great. We all went shopping yesterday. Today I think we'll go swim. I just hope we don't get cabin fever in this room.
Hey tooth, come oooonnn down!! Today on the radio they were talking about the different kinds of moms- like helicopter moms, neighborhood moms, etc. I might be a singing mom. ninergirl52, capitalize on your strength in that room so you don't get cabin fever!

Lots going on here
1- I have a terrible no good horrible head cold :-(
2- Isaac has been saying booby. I was confused as to where he has learned this because call me silly but I actually make it a point to not say booby. I have some friends who taught their kids to ask for booby when hungry. I am kind of weird and don't want him to do that. I like to use the word milk or sign it. Today I overheard MIL call him booby! Like a nickname. So that's where he learned it. We had a conversation after.
Also, I have started weaning. I dropped all the afternoon feeds so that I do not have to pump at work. He is loving the formula and bottle thankfully. Who knew breastfeeding is so emotional. I am not ready to stop altogether.
songbirdsinging55 I hope the headache goes away. You are doing an amazing job. It is not easy to have a 9-10 mo old and being in your first trimester! I think it's a normal time to start weaning anyway. You said that he is loving the formula and bottle so he's happy so mama should be happy. I think your supply will naturally start to go down anyway right? Gotta prep for the new baby?
How does that work? Like do you go back to nothing so that new baby has the colostrum and start with small amts again?? Isaac can pick back up and tandem feed of you want too.

jjh1119- I was lucky today that he was content with snuggles and movies since I am trying to rest. DH was so frustrating because I think sometimes he forgets how much being pregnant takes out of you. I got home last night and he went to sleep! I was up with a cold caring for Isaac and he was freaking sleeping!! I finally went in the room and yelled lol. Sorry for the rant. I think it drops off and then eventually colostrum comes back. I didn't think about tandem nursing.

Ha! I sing all the time to Lo too!! Umm dh refers to bf'ing before bedtime as "booby night night" - I'm quite sure my kid is going to be asking for booby night night when he starts talking. Ack!! So far so good on working and not going stir crazy (at all actually). Lo loves just crawling all over the place. I tipped the maids pretty well based solely on the number of dirty diapers in the garbage (so smelly).
Haha please tell us if "booby night night" happens ninergirl52
Also agree with zengal that yelling at your H is justified. I am constantly teminding my h if I get pg again he's going to have to help a LOT for overnight crying sessions, especially in the first tri songbirdsinging55
I'm probably also a singing mom. I've got a really smooth jam about clean butts.
LO was up at almost exactly 3am for some rocking and milk. It was her first MOTN bottle in a long time. She's eating better today, but has decided in no way shape or form will she let me spoon feed her. I can put her spoon on the tray with food and MAYBE she'll put it in her mouth. She will also accept SOME forms of food on her tray, and MIGHT nibble them, but will probably throw them instead. It's okay. I'm breezy about it. (I am NOT breezy)
jjh1119, her milk ounces have always been low, and normally i'm fine with it because she eats solids like a champ. well, now she's doing NOTHING like a champ. I'm sure it's temporary.
pixie523 I hope your BNN (booby night night) can distract you from the no wanting foods issue! MH made mention of a little for this weekend. This will be the third time. We're getting a sitter and everything!
