So im just sitting here trapped under a sleeping baby and a word popped into my head:

"schmoobin"

It is definitely a verb.

"Oh you know me, just schmoobin"


I dont know what it means to be schmoobin though----let us define it shall we?

I'm from PA Dutch country (Lancaster Co PA) and the other day I was writing on here that LO was "grexing" and the auto correct/spell check notification kept telling me I had it spelled wrong. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to spell it so I asked my coworker; she said "I think it is PA Dutch slang you won't find it in the dictionary". I had no idea but apparently she was right...so FYI Grexing = Fussing.
We have a lot of words around here that are nonsense to everyone else that I was clueless about!

Schmoobing is what you do during social lunch for breast feeding mommas. You have to talk about weather, jobs, politics, etc whilst your babe is attached to the boob.

Kinda like what we do on here.

No but Levi from "Amish Mafia" owned a contracting company that replaced the roof on my brothers house...that show is so fake and stupid I can't stand it (I only watched the first 3 episodes to see what a train wreck they would start)!

My mom/family says... well, "rutching" would be the closest, phoenetically. Usually meaning to crumple up cloth or to wriggle on the ground. I wonder if it's the same word? Her family is from Buffalo, so not super close to Amish/Pennsylvania Dutch country.

Rouchin = verb To move or squirm
"I couldn't sleep last night because my husband was rouchin around and kept messing up the sheets"
