I am taking the day off. I have a fever and Isaac was up all night and this morning every few hours. He only wanted me. I ugly cried around 2am, begging DH to help get him to sleep. I am just so sick and I was just so beat. MIL is going to watch him so I can rest today. Hoping it kicks this cold out!
You have had it rough songbirdsinging55! Hopefully the rest does you well. I was hoping to get more rest last night myself, and though I went to bed early, I woke up super early! I am starting to think maybe this is how it will be forever. Because when baby starts to STTN then I'll have another baby, and then they'll be teenagers and I'll be up waiting for them, and then I'll be elderly and wake up before dawn. Or, maybe I'm already elderly.

I just met up with a friend and almost started crying about me and lo sleeping. I'm just hoping it will get better by 1 year. People with toddles tell me they did what I'm doing and they are still sleeping in bed with the parents. I don't want that. I think I'm going to plan a get away for LO's birthday cuz I'm just sick of everyone. I deactivated my Facebook account cuz I'm just done hearing about everyone's life bad mood today
Sounds like a rough morning! LO didn't get her morning nap thanks to some weird sleep and a doctor appointment. She was 20.8lbs and 28 inches long. The finger prick wasn't nearly as traumatic as I expected, but I did leave a pretty grumpy lady at the nanny family today. Godspeed nanny.
Hello sleepy Internet friends! songbirdsinging55 hang in there girl, sorry you had such a rough night! Hope u can get some rest today and can start feeling better. zengal I specifically remember saying last night at 1 am when I was up for about the 4th time with lo that I feel like I will never sleep again! I've tried even letting her cry for 5 mins b4 I get her and she just gets mad...im. so. tired. all. the. time. gldnbearz that's tough, hate leaving the house when lo is already tired and fussy!
So my sil asked me over the weekend if I would consider watching their lo when she has him next year. They would pay me about twice as much as I'm making now and I would get to stay home with lo. My lo would be around 19 months and theirs would be about 4 months so I feel like I could do it. Kind of scary to think of quitting my job but I don't really like it anyway and would love to be able to stay at home, especially when we have baby #2. My H is totally on board. Sorry for the ramble, just trying to get my thoughts straight about it!

Drive by and doing LOTS of love titting. I'm also typing one handed so no tagging. Day 2 in our hotel room has been crazy. So many calls & work crisis' & Lo keeps pooping. I cannot wait for dh to get back from his class.

zengal - I often think of how little sleep I will get once #2 is here. I hear for most moms, the first year with 2u2 is a blur. Survival mode all the time. @ gldnbearz- Poor LO, hopefully she is in a better mood for you. Hugs jax1182014- people can be so exhaust with their advice. pixie523 - I forgot about finger pricks! kfaye - that sounds like an awesome deal! Still making an income and staying home with LO? I say it sounds fantastic! jjh1119- sounds like a great day! ninergirl52 - sounds like a chaotic day, when will he be done with class?

Oh wow , great grammar from me. Shows how my brain is working today. I am sleeping off and on but Isaac is very much in mommy mode. He wants no one else but me. Which is both sweet and exhausting.
Group nap!! That's what we need! jax1182014 I worry about co sleeping forever too, when people (including the pedi!) say we're headed down that road. But also, whatever. They don't know. pixie523jjh1119 Hooray for good appointments and growing babies! But sorry there was a finger prick, pixie. kfaye I'm openly jealous that you get to SAH and double your salary!! Congratulations, woman. ninergirl52 baby has been pooping up to three times a day recently. It's so weird. Speaking of, does everyone inspect the poops? Please say yes?
zengal yesterday we had a whopping 5 poops! We mostly have 1-2 per day. I'm always inspecting it. Just checking color, consistency, and seeing if there is anything he ate that he shouldn't have :x
Also typing one handed today...just got home from an impromtu trip to the pedi after lo started shaking at the nannys...he has done this to me a few times at night its like his whole body vibrates for a minute but he is completely responsive and has no other issues, Ive been just watching since we have a well child visit next week but he stareted doing it during the day the last two days so I called this morning and they had me bring him in. He did fine for their exam but yhe pedi is referring him to a pediatric neurologist to be safe. Im a liytle freaked out and feel like maybe I should have called sooner but he seriously seems fine even when he is vibrating be looks at me and responds to me talking to him and has no trouble breathing or anything. Neuro cant see him until October 1st, I hate waiting that long.
I will be working late tonight to catch up from missing work this afternoon but it was nice to have extra time with my little guy even for a not fun reason
pixie523 I'm not sticking my hands in poop if that's what you're thinking lol
spikesmom I say go with your gut instinct. I'm sure he is just fine and it's just precautionary. No worries until October 1st. If your doc was more concerned he would have pressed a bit I think.

Omg I sounded slightly unstable earlier. I'm feeling better lol.. We are planning a 4 day getaway to Florida for Allison's 1st birthday so I think I just need to get away for a little. My parents will be coming I think it will be nice
It looks like everyone needs a big hug today. Hopefully you get sleep and can relax. I'm having days in which I love my job and days in which I just want to volunteer 2 days a week on a school and be home with DD the other time.

Yes, of course we remember ineedmorecoffee and you should definitely play with us! I am reminded of the gals all the time and then wonder how everyone is doing. The other day I was thinking of our Canadian moms and how they're still enjoying maternity leave!
