I haven't been super great at working out this past week, but I have been active walking a lot. Not back to running, but I plan on it this weekend.
Goal for this next week is back up to running 3x/week. Short distances and walking the remainder. Also starting a whole30 this Monday. Too many sweets lately for my preferences.
Favorite healthy recipe: skinny taste parmesan roasted green beans

What activities have you been doing? I've finally forced myself to do some activity. Went running and started Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (I am so sore today).
Did you meet your goals from last week? I just wanted to actually do physical activity and eat healthy. I've been eating healthier for a couple of weeks now and haven't had fast food in a while. Being that I started exercising I'm pretty happy with my progress this week so far.
What are your goals for this week? Exercise, diet, or both? Both. I want to keep up with doing exercise 5x/week and keep eating healthier. I really need to avoid the treats at work, though I've been better about not indulging too much.
GTKY: What is your favorite healthy dinner recipe? Um, I'd probably just have to say something like grilled chicken and asparagus. I'm really not much of a cook, but I've been trying to find some healthy recipes on Pinterest. Hopefully one will become my favorite.

What activities have you been doing? Walking, wearing my Nike for band and trying to hit 2200 points a day, and trying to do some quick momma workouts from a momma blogger that I know.
Did you meet your goals last week? Yes, I was able to eat fairly well all week. The weekend was tough because we went wine tasting on Saturday and baby shower on Sunday. I was able to lose a pound, splurge over the weekend and gained some of it back but, I was able to make up for it and lose what I gained back by Monday.
Goals for the week? Keep track on my somewhat clean eating. Not everything is 100% clean because I don't have the time to read every darn good label. I am just cutting out beans, wheat and rice. I try and stick with meat and non starchy veggies. Try and do a couple momma workouts this week and a couple of walks in the evening. I am going to log all of my calories for the entire week including Saturday and Sunday this week.
GTKY: my healthy dinner recipe is grilled chicken tacos on corn tortillas with grilled bell pepper and onions and topped with fresh avocado and hot sauce. Yummmmmm. I had that for dinner yesterday.
mumomma13 you should check out eat-yourself-skinny.com. She has some great recipes. I love her turkey chili but, it is way too damn hot here right now to be eating soup.
What are your goals for this week? Exercise, diet, or both?
GTKY: What is your favorite healthy dinner recipe?
What activities have you been doing?
Biking to work 3x per week, running 2x per week, randomly dispersed crunches, mostly be accident
Did you meet your goals from last week?
No I missed the Friday running session because I was out day drinking with a coworker. I mean, working hard...
What are your goals for this week? Exercise, diet, or both?
2x running, continue to cut down on sugars and watch my alcohol intake becuase I think that's bloating me.
GTKY: What is your favorite healthy dinner recipe? Uhm... does it look really terrible if I pass? What's considered healthy??? I love making HUGE salads for dinner, but I usually end up sticking so much stuff in there it's probably considered unhealthy by the time I'm finished. But I do eat mainly vegetables and meat in all my meals. GAH! Pass... I can't do this :-P
What activities have you been doing? Walking; I try to take the long way to places in my building, instead of cutting through the breezeway. Trying to get my 10,000 steps on my Fitbit
Did you meet your goals from last week? I actually made it to 10,000 steps one day this past week. I usually get soooo close!
What are your goals for this week? Exercise, diet, or both? I need to stop mindless snacking, and try to hit my step goal! Also, I've downloaded the "WaterBalance" app on my phone, which tracks all the liquids you drink and calculates your water needs vs intake. I suck at drinking healthy things...
GTKY: What is your favorite healthy dinner recipe? We do lots of baked chicken and veggies. I have a bunch of different Mrs. Dash spice blends, so we try to change it up that way so it doesn't get too boring.
What activities have you been doing? Taking LO for walks almost every day; trying to do 3-4 gym classes a week.
Did you meet your goals from last week? Nope, I was on vacation and I didn't even pretend to do anything remotely active. I guess I ate okay though because my weight finally went down a pound or so after 4-5 weeks of not changing. I am so freaking close to being back to my pre-pregnancy weight.
What are your goals for this week? Exercise, diet, or both? Do my gym classes and keep eating better. Only go out to eat once this weekend.
GTKY: What is your favorite healthy dinner recipe? Blackened chicken salads, yum! Or vegetable soup. Or split pea and ham soup. Or chili (red or white bean). Can't wait for it to cool off outside so I can make all the soups!
GeekBeagle, I haven never done that 30 day shred - do you like it? I have her yoga meltdown video (two 30-minute sessions, the second one being WAY HARDER THAN THE FIRST!), and it's so challenging!
What activities have you been doing? When time permits, usually an hour of cardio + weight training blend. Basically treadmill running for 10 minutes then bodypump for 10 minutes. Repeat 3x.
Did you meet your goals from last week? Last week was the first time I technically reached my pre-pregnancy weight. It was a feel-good accomplishment for me (even though my body is still totally, um, diffferent and weird in places). I know I shouldn't pay attention to the scale but I'm a numbers gal so...... I do.
What are your goals for this week? Exercise, diet, or both? I want to work out at least twice between now and Sunday!
GTKY: What is your favorite healthy dinner recipe? Teriyaki skirt steak on the grill (fatty chunks removed the best I can), with rice and asparagus

nbad311 I like it, but I can say that I've never finished the full 30 days. It has 3 different workouts (each one a bit harder) so you're technically supposed to do 10 days of each. I don't know that I've ever made it to workout 3, though. It is a good workout, but it can get a bit repetitive since you're watching the same video with the same commentary day after day. But, I'm sure that can be said with most video workouts.

What activities have you been doing? Yoga and walking.
Did you meet your goals from last week? Kind of sort of.
What are your goals for this week? Exercise, diet, or both? Make it to two work out classes and get out and walk on my lunch break more. I also need to start running since I'm doing the Princess Run at Disney in February! Diet wise, continue with Meatless Mondays, low carb options and be mindful of snacking at my desk. That's my biggest downfall!
GTKY: What is your favorite healthy dinner recipe? This week we tried cheesy zucchini enchiladas from skinny taste. They were a hit!
Did you meet your goals from last week? No. I'm still hovering around 33lbs lost. Grrr!
What are your goals for this week? Exercise, diet, or both? Going to start doing wii fit again next week. Hoping to do it a couple days a week. And try to go on more walks even though the weather has cooled off here. And I'm trying to lose the usual two pounds (pfft yeah right).
GTKY: I don't like to cook healthily but I suppose turkey tacos in a lettuce wrap?? I guess just grilled chicken and veggies would be another.
