If you have been to Bend before, let me pick your brain.

It is my favorite place to vacation, but usually we are more in the Sunriver area/with family, so we eat in a lot. DH and I are going this weekend for our little honeymoon trip and I'm wondering what the best restaurants/breweries to go to are. We're planning on hitting up a few of them (breweries) on Saturday because the weather is supposed to be a little cruddy, but I want to make sure we're going to good ones. preferably with samplers (unless they all do samplers, in which case ignore me).

The only thing I remember about Bend is camping. I'm no help. :(

10 Barrel is my fave. What about Cycle Pub? Those are super fun. I've heard great things about the Bend one because I believe as long as there is a body part touching the brew cycle, you can drink beer outside the breweries! I did the one in Portland and had a blast!

I'm no help, but one of my favorite bloggers is in Bend and always raves about it. You could always shoot her an email, she loves talking about bend. Fair *warning* though, she is pregnant so trigger warning should you choose to click. Her blog here =)

I love Bend! You can try to visit all the breweries and get a prize, I think they refer to it as the Ale Trail. Crux has cool outdoor space, I like food (and beer) at 10 Barrel. I like the beer at Boneyard too but I can't really remember the ambiance there. Deschuttes is the biggest one, I think, and that's fun too. They do tours I believe. I can't remember where we ate last time we were there. I think we just took the advice of Yelp and had a pretty good experience. We wandered around their farmers market and went walking and running by the river.

We love bend!! It is close to home for us. I second 10 barrel for sure. Deschutes brewery is also great. You can rent kayaks and float the river in town. They usually have live bands in the main park (I can't remember the name). We live to hike on Mt. Bachelor. But, they have great shopping and food!

lgraceh ahhh man, that sounds like so much fun! I just looked it up and apparently you have to rent out the whole bike and their minimum amount of people is more than we have I've heard of buses picking you up at your hotel and taking you to four different breweries, so maybe we'll do something like that!
